Well no, given it's his 11th season in Aus he's well entitled to a top up sabbatical I think. But I totally expect the rhetoric to be much more negative around what he's doing compared to Whitelock, Retallick and Barrett.

I still think we should look at altering our season especially if we go with just 6 teams to lead into the Nov window while looking to allow players to dual contract with clubs in Japan. Or at least Wallabies squad members.

That would destroy a super 8 series or TT crossover finals which seems to be a key piece of the broadcast offering

If the reports of the four Super Rugby franchises replacing the Kings and Cheetahs in the Pro 14 to become Pro 16 are true then the Super 8 could at best be the Super 6.
