    Where to for Super Rugby?

Super Rugby already starts in Feb. I see no reason not to continue. As Rebels3 suggests there are a number of factors in play with potentially a big one being PE who will want to see a commitment to deriving value from their investment. NZ have essentially lost the battle according to the article if...

Any mention of recruitment of Argentines?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

What we'll have next year is pretty much how the conferences of Super Rugby should have evolved to when the Sunwolves entered the fray.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Why not? All parties need to look at maximising their respective value and opting for a full double round robin would certainly achieve that. The June window is becoming the July window and I'm pretty sure was recently extended by a week or two via a vote. Could be wrong there. But either way...

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

And made to run laps for every errant throw. It's a core skill of the position. How all of them across the board could be having issues with it is perplexing.

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

Go back a page or two and you'll see after looking at it I changed my opinion after the replay.

Are you talking about points on the ladder or differential?

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

Okay. Looked at it again. From the angle behind it looks to the body but the reverse show clear head contact. I was wrong. Should have been a red.

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

I saw contact with the body first but I'll go back and have a look to see if that's the case.

I'm still a little wound up. Give me a few more minutes.

To the body is a yellow. Directly to the head. Red.

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

I would have preferred to see him driven into touch fighting to stay in rather than go for the very low % option that gave the ball away cheaply.

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

Never a red. But definitely a yellow. Numpty Rugby.

We need points. And Hooper makes a break and thinks. How about a grubber! A GRUBBER!!!

    Shute Shield 2020

Not strictly Shute related. But part of me thinks that the 13 week Shute season structure in use this season would make the perfect structure for the proposed National Club Competition. Top 4 frrom Sydney and Brisbane. A rep squad from both competitions for those not part of those clubs plus a...

    Shute Shield 2020

Would certainly make an already interesting comp even more so. And Randwick would get an upgrade on Horwitz in particular when it comes to the kicking department.

    Crap. Fixed.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

That's largely thanks to the earning curve being far too steep for many of them to overcome in a short space of time. Which is often the issue with the guys we've poached having little to no Rugby experience. I wouldn't support similar recruitment. Only those with established pasts in the game.
