New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

That would mean leaving out two of Wright, Wilson and Samu I just don’t see it. Swinton offers a little grunt but lacks accuracy and discipline.......and experience.

    Wallabies 2020

It has to be JOC (James O'Connor) at 10. As good as Lolesio has looked he does not possess the positional game of JOC (James O'Connor), who is also an accomplished international fullback/wing. Playing him at 10 just opens up selection possibilities in the back 3. With To'omua at 12 it’s debatable if we even need another 10 in the...

    Wallabies 2020

IMHO Samu is an excellent bench option who covers all three back row positions and who can up the tempo and bring a lot of impact to the game when introduced. Otherwise start him at 6. He was perfect in this role at the Crusaders and will bring the same to the Wallabies.

    Wallabies 2020

When has he ever had a bad game, seriously? He takes excellent options and is very solid. I don’t think he has the pace for a winger, but he’s not far off and is deceptively fast. He will be there or thereabouts in the 23. i reckon 15 is his go and I would choose him ahead of DHP.

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

Anyway, there is healthy competition for all three front row spots.

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

Sorry, but the Brumbies front row will not exactly have the ABs shaking in their boots. They were towelled up by the Reds and also the Rebels(when Uelese was on) on more than a few occasions at scrum time this year. FF (Folau Fainga'a) has been underwhelming in his limited time in test rugby. On the other hand...

That bloke will be playing 10 already

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

That could work. That front row has been dished up by the reds a few times. The reserves will bring it home strong. Thats the 23 I would go with but I might change a few starters. Uelese in for FF (Folau Fainga'a) Phillip in for Simmons Wright in fir Daugunu

    Wallabies 2020

I would be happy with that or for Samu and Wright to switch. Either will make a good impact when introduced.

    Wallabies 2020

    And he hits like 125kgs

    Wallabies 2020

I’d be pretty happy with a drawn series. This is a very young group. Expectations should not be too lofty initially.

    Wallabies 2020

    Definitely on the cards.......shame.
  13. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2020

I see that Uelese is training with the squad
  14. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2020

I would go 6 Wright 7 Hooper 8 Wilson bench Samu

    Wallabies 2020

Does anyone actually have details of Ueleses injury?
  16. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2020

Depends on Uelese’s injury. BPAs throwing was horrible but he did some good things in general play. Brumbies plan and execution was impressive.

Super Rugby Au Final - Brumbies v Reds

He has but they have a much better chance with Lolesio driving the boat.

    Wallabies 2020

No one is guaranteed and form is definitely a marker. How has Hoopers form been? I’m a huge fan of all three in the Reds backrow and no doubt they will contribute a lot to Wallaby rugby from this point forward, but I wouldn’t throw them head first into the fire pit that is Bled 1 in NZ. I...

    Wallabies 2020

Smith must have been watching a different Michael Hooper over the past 5 years. He has the speed of a back and a great ability to read the game. He seems to often be heavily involved in multi phase attack with the Tahs and the Wallabies. McReight looks to be special but there is no substitute...
