Bledisloe 2 at Eden Park 18/10/20

He packed at 8 a few times last week and apparently Wright has been training at 8 a bit.

Or LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) moves to 8? I think Ned is a good choice. He’s very busy around the breakdown and a big step up from Samu in the lineout. Hope he goes well.

Not sure about Hanigan but he has beefed up and has been playing well........at lock. He should be playing 6 week in and out with the Tahs. Otherwise it looks pretty good. Was Samu injured? My tip - Liam Wright to have a block busting half at 6.

Watch again. In his short time on the field he had more than double the tackles of FF (Folau Fainga'a)(no misses, FF (Folau Fainga'a) had 2), a breakdown turnover and about a dozen good clean outs. In fact he was the third highest tackle maker for the Wallabies behind only Hooper and Samu with no misses. He also carried the ball...

No. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) had his best test starting in the row. Lock is his position.

Surely SAMU is injured. He’s pretty handy in the line out.

I’d could also live with Wright on the bench in place of Valetini. Wright will tackle to a standstill and has better on ball presence than anyone currently in the 23. It would have been nice to have him for that last 8 1/2 minutes in Bled1. At the end of a game like that you need speed.

    But I’d take a win.......

They just kept standing up, not only to defend, but also to try and score and win. Impressive stuff! The game should have given the young Wallabies some confidence. We all know how the next chapter normally goes, and so does Rennie. Just as he had them up for game 1, I expect he will have them...

According to the podcast Uelese made 10 tackles in his short stint on the paddock. Third highest for the side overall. Where are the stats for the game?

He was also demolished by Paisami at one point.

That will give them both a lot of confidence and they should come out on Sunday breathing fire.

It looked as though he lost control of the ball when he went to pass it inside and he popped it up trying to gain control.

At some point Uelese needs to be given a chance, just as FF (Folau Fainga'a) has been done. Uelese was the back up to Latu last year and played very well. FF (Folau Fainga'a) still unproven at this level. I agree that FF (Folau Fainga'a) should get another start, but if he has a similar performance this weekend he should be out of the 23 and BPA...

It’s very different. I’m a big fan of Lolesio, but throwing him in at Eden Park with an angry AB pack is not the way. The others are more physically imposing and in their positions possibly under less pressure. I agree it could have gone badly for Paisami but he came through the test well. It is...

The ABs would have a field day with Lolesio.

I would guess that you bring JP onto the bench in place of Lolesio. No slight on him but he will get a chance soon enough, and exactly at which point would you bring him on for a test debut at Eden park against a fired up ABs? There is no need with both JOC (James O'Connor) and To'omua on the pitch. Worst case...

I don’t think they need a 6/2 split. Valetini was hardly used. 4 of the back 5 are 80 minute players, and that may be unfair on Wilson.

Banks was really solid. It would send the wrong message to dump him or Paisami. DHP or Hodge on the bench? I’ll take Hodge every day. Lolesio didn’t get on last week and most likely will not be needed this week. Petaia takes his place if fit and gets a half. Lolesios time will come soon back in Oz.
