What is the latest news on the injuries from the weekend? They have some time to recover, particularly the Rebels players.

Ummmmm, he’s the fullback for the Queensland Reds, which puts him as one of the top half dozen(at least) 15s in the country.

If DHP is injured then Reece Hodge may appear at 15 with MK and Daugunu on the wings.

I don’t know. Sounds like Rennie is impressed with Wilson as well. Wilson has a bit more size on his side. The real surprise could be Wright at 6. Those three with Hooper would be a good set of backrowers in a 23. Our back row stocks are very strong, not just at 7 this time.

He put in a decent shift last night but other than that has been off the mark.

Orr unlucky. His scrumming has been solid and very good in general play. Blyth also unlucky but has a big future.

To'omua OConnor Paisami All good options at 12 as well

Hooper is a walk up starter. No question. Kerevi? Maybe not. You just have to look at the Reds backline play this year compared to last.

Which positions? We have some serious front row grunt and an exciting group of back rowers. The engine room needs to be experienced and strong to match up with the other RC teams. Im a big fan of Hosea, Blyth and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and the best thing for them is to be mentored by a test lock at top of his...

Kerevi has not played at any reasonable level since mid Feb apparently. I don’t think even if fit that he will add to the current crop. We are loaded with good options at centre. We need a bit of grunt and nous up front, particularly in the row.

And then Arnold becomes a very handy mentor for the up and comers in Super Rugby. There are some very good prospects.

I imagine that Rennie will be going after Skelton with a view to signing him to an Oz team within two years so his eligibility sticks.

    Arnold and Latu(if fit)

    Wallabies 2020

Why not? He’s very young, has great skills and has already proven himself in test rugby. He’s only going to get better.

Yes. He is very one dimensional and the likes of the ABs will contain him easily. That quick tap at the end almost cost the Rebs a finals spot.

Super Rugby AU Round 9 - Brumbies, v. Force, Friday 28 August 7:05pm AEST (5:05pm AWST)

Mediocre performance from the Brums, not bad from the Force. They lack teeth. FF (Folau Fainga'a) a pretender.

Hooper is an 80 minute player. He starts as captain and you can have a 6/8 on the bench like Samu or maybe even Wright if you envisage a real on ball onslaught late in the game. I would guess that Hooper will be the first bloke picked, maybe third after AAA and TT.

Patience. Hes shaping up but needs to get more involved. Last night he was good under the high ball and kicked a few good clearances. The concept is where he can be soon.
