    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Most of the big events are on between 3am and 6am for us in Australia. Going to be the same story as many big international events here - the time zone kills the commercial possibilities

What's the points differential for when Tupou is on and off the field?
  3. Strewthcobber

    Rebels v Drua

They all know how to play the game. Lomani (or someone at the club!) will have contacted Canham straight after the game with demonstrable evidence of regret.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Makes sense for the consortium, but they will fund the "loss making" Rebels through debt, any profits being taken by the company, and if/when they want to exit (say the gov doesn't build the train line) or the consortium goes bust, then any new owners, including VRU or RA, would have to pay off...

Striking with the elbow is * Medium range - 5 weeks * Top end - 9 weeks Given the automatic couple of weeks off for saying sorry, I reckon they will give him 3 weeks off the top end = 6 week suspension This would be consistent with Vahaamahina for France in 2019

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Ironically it was Jed Holloway spilling the kickoff. He was terrific for lots of last night, but not then

Newly single Twiggy looking for someone to go to the pub with?

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Yep. Several Brumbies attacking moves are worth it. Was a pretty good game I though

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Valetini steamroll apart, this was the best bit of the game. Love that the Brumbies had split them so effectively that a third of the Tahs are 10m from where they need to be

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

1st try was well put together by the Brumbies. 2nd was off a midfield turnover after the Tahs didn't deal with a shocking straight up Brumbies box kick 3rd came from the dropped kickoff And 4th straight after the stuffed up hook and tight head scrum. I thought the Tahs were generally OK...

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

He's got to be in the conversation. He takes so much pressure off of his 10 with playmaking (when it goes well!)

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Wright with the offload to a rampaging Valetini. Edmed wondering what the number plate of the truck that ran over him is

    Round 7: Brumbies v Waratahs, Sat 6th 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

Tom Wright's try. Great flat ball out to the wing

Maybe not directly, but ask any lock what sport most people assume they play, and rugby isn't their first guess..... A strong basketball culture is just one more challange we are almost unique in having to face in World Rugby (except obv France, Italy and NZ)

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Not sure it matters for this discussion too much, but for adult men, hockey and rugby union are about the same. 50% more rugby league players, and 5 to 6 times more basketball players. For boys, for each one hockey player, there are two rugby union players, 3 rugby league players and 6...

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Ausplay has hockey having around around 50% more participants than rugby union (which surprised me!). Pretty much the same as rugby league participation. Both dwarfed by basketball. Around 6 times more surveyed people play bball than rugby union

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

The NBL had 1.1m through the gate this year at an average of 7.2k. Nearing 80% capacity That's a sensational season for them. Basketball's growth continues

    Rebels v Drua

Mid range striking with the elbow is five weeks. Plus two weeks off for saying sorry.... I reckon he gets a three week suspension
