World XV (Or Earth's XV, Terran XV, whatever you like)

If we are talking No 8s, Imanol Hairydonkey or Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe should be in with a shout. And Sergio Parisse always seems to get talked up, but I have barely seen him play. And as for No 1, Benn Robinson was the best loosehead last year. This year he has struggled to get his mojo...

    Western Force 2011

The only issue with having Shepherd at 15 is that his hamstring is a weakness. He didnt play 15 at the Force last year because he didnt feel that his hammy was up to the kicking. Is he going to be fine for 2011 to play 15? If so, then i would like to see him there and JOC (James O'Connor) at 12. If not, then JOC (James O'Connor)...

Triceratops at prop, Brontosaurus at lock. I have a feeling that the raptors would want to play for the Saffers. Have you seen the claws they have - great for eye gouging!

They have Ripia to play 10. Id prefer to see JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 or 15 personally.

Is it my imaginateion, or has Groucho picked 16 players. Sneaky bastard he is! And I can categorically say that a Peregrine Falcon is a demon in defence! They swoop like nothing on earth when their nest is threatened!

Will Caldwell to Step Away From Rugby For 2011

http://www.waratahs.com.au/Waratahs/News/NewsArticle/tabid/157/ArticleID/379/Default.aspx A real pity. Hope he gets through this and plays again.

    How hard is the Tri-Nations?

Well apparently Alberto Contador has just been done for steroids, so maybe the TDF isnt as hard, if everyone is on the juice... http://www.smh.com.au/sport/cycling/alberto-contador-tests-p ositive-to-steroid-20100930-15y37.html?from=smh_sb

    Uni vs Wicks

Looking at that Uni team, its S14 quality certainly. Well, the starting 15 is - they all have S14 contracts too. I dont know enough about the club scene to know much about the uncontracted players mind. But a full strength Uni team would certainly challenge the bottom S14 teams. But you are...

    Uni vs Wicks

Both of those teams look chock full of Wallabies and S14 contracted players. How would they compete against the Currie Cup / NPC teams?

    Western Force 2011

Doubt it qwerty. McCalman is going to want to make a push for the Wallaby 8 spot. I would suggest that the four of them rotate over the season to cover for injuries. I can see one of Brown and Hodgson going at the end of next season though. Pocock is the ebst of the three, and McCalman will get...

    chisolm out> VAN THE MAN

Outside of Nathan Sharpe, the locks are essentially babies. Mumm has been around the block granted, but Simmons is a baby. And if Horwill gets a gig (will he be fit?) then we have 2 young locks. Van's experience might be invaluable in guiding these youngens along. Having said that, Sharpe will...

    Wallaby Injuries

Given how many players we have that can play about 20 positions in the back - we have players that can back up almost every position in the run on side, let alone the reserves, a 5/2 split would be sensible. Deans wont go for it of course. But that could mean we could have both McCalman and...

2010 Wallabies End of Year Tour (EOYT)

Gnostic, Kepu covering 8 is all well and good at club level, but I would be very nervous with throwing him in there at test level with no real preparation. But as you say, if McCalman, Palu, Brown and Higgenbum all go down then maybe its worth considering. I never understood why Deans persisted...

2010 Wallabies End of Year Tour (EOYT)

This is who I think will be picked, not who I would like to see picked: Robinson, Slipper, Palmer Moore, Fa'ainga, Charles Alexander, Kepu, Ma'afu Sharpe, Simmons, Mumm, Douglas, Dennis Elsom, Higgenbum Pocock, Hodgson McCalman, Brown Genia, Burgess, Kingi Cooper, To'omua, Giteau Barnes...

    Western Force 2011

I think he has a tier 1 academy contract now, but dont quote me. He would still only be 17 this year I believe, 18 next, so might be a couple of years off yet.
