Wales vs Australia, EOYT 2010, Millenium Stadium

Ah. So we want the roof open then.

    S15s Australian Conference

Yup. And it would be good to see the 5 Aus teams play after their internationals leave, in a Aus comp. Would be great to get some of the second tier players a run in a decent competition.

Good man. There arent enough Force fans around! Now getting back to the game, this is perhaps a timely reminder of last time we played Wales... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXLYBa5YIqw&feature=related

And did you see him straight back onto his feet competing for the ball after a tackle!

Will anyone beat the Crusader in 2011?

I think you are underestimating the Bulls and Stormers there Charger.

I think that is a case of in spite of as opposed to because of.

    Giteau and his Crabbing

Yes. I was merely trying to make a point that AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) could run good lines, and angle inside. Something he could be doing off of Giteau to good effect.

Will anyone beat the Crusader in 2011?

You woudlnt consider Halangahu in at 12? With Barnes at 10, and Carter and Cross at 12 and 13, the talented and fast backline they are putting out wont ever see the ball.

    Giteau and his Crabbing

Maybe it was the Boks game. In fact it was the Boks game. Thanks for the reminder - memories of things like that are usually a little cloudy due to the alcohol involved!

    Giteau and his Crabbing

Its something we have all seen. Australia are in attack, Giteau has the ball in his hands and he starts running at right angles to the way you want him to go, until he finds the sidelines. And then like me, you probably hurl abuse at the television, telling Giteau to sort himself out. I guess...

    S15s Australian Conference

You have a starting pack of Daley, Fa'ainga and Slipper. Against the stronger packs that will go backwards. All three, while Wallabies, are a number of years off developing into strong scrummagers. They are mobile, but will get bested. Holmes and Shepherdson are now a long way from the...

Will anyone beat the Crusader in 2011?

Stormers look pretty good too: 1. CJ vd Linde 2. Tiaan Liebenberg 3. Wicus Blaauw 4. Fondse 5. Bekker 6. Schalk Burger 7. Francois Louw 8. Duane Vermeulen 9. Duvet 10. Peter Grant 11. Habana 12. JdV 13. Jaque Fourie 14. Aplon 15. Conrad Jantjes 16. Deon Fourie 17. Brok Harris 18. Anton van...

Will anyone beat the Crusader in 2011?

Blow that. I am going to be one eyed and biased towards Australian teams. They are kiwis for christs sake. Kiwis. We beat them in the intelligence stakes every time, and that must count for something!

    S15s Australian Conference

How will this pan out? Most of the teams have their strongest team sorted now, and most of their reserves as well. For me, I think: Tahs Reds Force Brumbies Rebels I think the Tahs have a team that could win the whole comp, if their chips fall in the right places. They have a front...

Will anyone beat the Crusader in 2011?

My pick of the Aus teams this coming year is the Tahs. And I think they will challenge the Crusaders in the forwards. Consider: Robinson vs Crockett - Fatcat TPN vs Flynn - TPN Baxter vs Franks - Franks, but Baxter knows the ropes Vickerman vs Thorn - Thorn, but if Vickerman can find his...

I did like AACs dummy to the sideline at 3:03. Not convinced the ABs bought it though.

Wallabies best 3-2-1 vs All Blacks in Hong Kong

    3. Beale 2. Pocock 1. JOC (James O'Connor) I am starting to warm to JOC (James O'Connor) at wing. He has speed. He has the footwork, and he knows how to finish. His positional play is a bit average granted, but that can be coached. He is also very good at laying a tackle. And he has bulked up a little since he ran on as a 17...

    Gnostic's Wallaby Ratings Bled IV

Chis up one, Beale up one or two, Giteau down 2, McCalman down 2, OConnor up one, Schmoo up one. And with the scrums, after we had been shagged a few times for engaging early, our front row werent even engaging, rather waiting for the hit. That meant that we were at a disadvantage straight...

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Im with Lee on this. We critise Deans for chopping and changing. Then when he maintains a consistent squad we critise him for leaving out players that have yet to play at the top level. The Bledisloe is not the place to blood new players, regardless of the odd gem we have come across from doing...
