    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Thought I had read somewhere that he was one of the fastest players in the wallaby squad. I could be wrong. I think it was something posted here about a twitter comment? Anyway, could be an interesting video analysis thingy - who is the best wingers positionally, speed-wise, in defence, etc? I...

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Ah, but he is. He is one of the faster players in the squad from what I understand.

Bledisloe IV - Hong Kong - Pick The Score

Either way, I think it will be high scoring. Both teams have very strong attacks. I think this game will hinge on how long Dan Carter can stay on the field. If he is forced off early, then Donald will be overwhelmed and the Wallabies should run away with it (by a point or two). If he is good...

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Brown is useful as a bench player. He will add in the last 30. He has a high work rate, but not the size to compete from the get go. Higgens while having had a very good super rugby season, is untested at international level. I really would like to see him tried on this tour to see how he goes...

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Its almost worth having the Wallabies lose just so that when the kiwis are bundled out of the RWC next year the fall is even more epic!

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

We can see how tall Hodgo is. We just need to look at him. I would like a 6/8 with a bit of height. Hence Elsom and McCalman work well. Hodgo is 184cm I think. And believe me, I am a Force fan, it pains me to say that.

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Yup, Brown offers more cover than Hodgson. Brown has a huge workrate. Its just he cant exert himself physically. Thrown in with 30 to go, he is very useful. Hodgson is the backup 7. He palys 6 at Super level, but he is not tall enough to do it at international level.

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

He was very good, but wasnt the best. I have heard that his ITM Cup form has been pretty average. A lot of Kiwis are asking whether it was worth bringing him back.

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Nope. Deadly serious. ;) Unfortunately sarcasm doesnt come across well on a forum does it :(. Im quite glad that the ABs are taking this game seriously. I hope Deans names a full strength side too. If we can beat the ABs it will be a huge confidence boost and I would like to see the momentum...

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Good to see the ABs selecting a B team. This will be a walk in the park surely!

    Bledisloe IV 2010 Hong Kong

Four changes from the team that beat Australia 23-22 in Sydney last month. All Blacks Coach Graham Henry and his Assistant Coaches Steve Hansen and Wayne Smith have named their team for the DHL Hong Kong Bledisloe Cup Test against Australia at Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday 30 October. The Test...

    Western Force 2011

I am surprised that he has left NZ if he isnt ever going to make the Australian side, but might still make the All Blacks, and hence you are right, something is a little fuuny. How much more would he get to be a super rugby player in WA compared to NZ? Im guessing he will have some sort of...

    Western Force 2011

Someone on another site said he has been capped for sevens by NZ, so wouldnt be a development player, rather a marquee.

And the first article I read about it on ninemsn lead with that, not the actual awards themselves.

World Player of the Year 2010

I think the bias is in the way the selections are made. If I remember correctly, 5 or 6 past players (I think John Eales is one) sit down and watch all of the games played that year and pick the top 3 players. That means that games between Italy and Scotland are given the same importance as...

World Player of the Year 2010

It must be coming around to that time of the year again. I know the Spring Tour is still to happen, but surely McCaw has it in the bag. What other contenders are there?

Nickname for that team across the Dutch

I voted for Bloody Kiwis. I think its eloquent, simple, and really says what how I feel about them.
