Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

We often hear this sort of whispering, so who is the person or persons at the "top" pulling the strings and forcing a national coach to select a player in a run on side at a position he hadn't played at for some time?

Probably a year too early for Vaea. I can't see there being any room for him in a World Cup squad.

For those that have seen a bit of T14 will know that Giteau has bulked up a bit. Plays a little more direct than when he left. He may also be handy for some Intel on opposition players as well.

Knuckles is back...... Giteau as back up halfback is crazy talk

    Goodbye Steve Walsh

Don't let him work in the liquor section. Is it too soon......

    Waratahs v Highlanders, semi-final, Saturday 27 June

I can play this game. I raise you a Wilson, Harrison and Noriega.... :)

    Waratahs 2016

Probably because you forgot to wear the skinny jeans and short sleeve shirt buttoned to the top.....

Also comparing Skelton2015 to Skelton2014 is chalk and cheese. He's played so many more minutes this season, predominantly as a starter and not an "impact" player. His ruck work is far more consistent and instead of standing off the ruck waiting for 'that' run, he's been more involved at the...

    2015 Bok squad

Will be interesting if one of the rookie halfbacks, Faf or Page get a look in the RC and go on to the WC or will it be a case of Du Preez and Pienaar. Reinach has shown glimpses.

Fish n Chips. A few years ago he had packed on a bit of weight whilst at Canterbury playing in the ITM Cup. Had a reputation of not training hard etc. A few lads saw him down at the local FnCs and the name stuck.

Samoa v All Blacks: Apia, 8/07/15

Manu Samoa squad of 27 named. My proposed starting lineup underlined Hookers Wayne Ole Avei Maatulimanu Leiataua Props Viliamu Afatia Census Johnston Anthony Perenise Sakaria Taulafo Locks Kane Thompson Teofilo Paulo Iosefa Tekori Faatiga Lemalu Loosies Alafoti Faosiliva Jack Lam Ofisa...

    Waratahs v Highlanders, semi-final, Saturday 27 June

In real time I thought FnCs had scored because he had got good body position, had gone through the first tackler and the line was right there. After watching several replays, it was clear to me that the force behind JacPots tackle had stunned FnCs enough preventing any momentum to the line...

    Refereeing decisions

That would have been laughed at during the time rucking was legal. It was soft and ineffectual. However the Brumbies player was lying on the Canes side when the Canes we're going forward. That sort of tactic would have always earned you a few on the back or leg back in the day.

    Waratahs v Highlanders, semi-final, Saturday 27 June

It was poor from Pot. He could've attacked that collision very differently but chose to swing his arm, and that swinging arm hit FnCs in the head. It didn't need to be like that. Given the size of those screens, the replays were there for all to see pretty clearly. If that had been a Landers...

That breakdown steal by Pocock was superb.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Folau and Foley have played every minute of every single game. Sheesh two front line Wallabies that have a big test year ahead.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

It's not often the national selectors get to pick a massive training squad like this - happens every 4 years. It's not only an opportunity to see where guys are at for the WC but with an eye to the future. This is particularly relevant with the "4 year cycle" and player exodus after WC's. A...

    Hurricanes V Brumbies Semi-Final, Sat 27th June

That rookie on the wing happens to be Milner-Skudder who has had a stellar season playing both fullback and wing and carved up all opposition defences. He is on fire and finds himself in an AB extended squad.

Evans has been mainly used as an impact player and a pretty good one at that.

I'd be taking/starting McCalman ahead of Palu. McCalman has impressed IMO, he plays quite similar to Read in the way that he runs the ball. May not have the deft offload game, but he has really upped his aggression and plays with a bit of edge to him. It's a shame he plays for a very...
