Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Pollard is having a very good defensive game

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Another turnover at the ruck. But BdP does something he should never do, do a clearance kick 5m from your line. Big opportunity her for OZ. I wouldn't lose hope yet if I were an Aussie fan, only 13 points

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Try time. Some good hands there but waaaaay too passive in defence. Skelton struggling. Backs getting through him up the middle.

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Third one for BdP. Smart play by the Wallabies at LO time

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

Made a pretty play to set up the try though Dan. I'm not a fan but that was nice. Burger and BdP have really set the tone for the way the Boks are attacking the collisions. In terms of attack, I think both teams have been a little guilty of playing a little lateral. Oz have looked good if...

Wallabies v. Springboks, 18th July 2015, Suncorp, Brisbane

He's been poor in my opinion. Lacking any real punch with his runs. Exposed at scrum time with poor body position, not knocking enough Boks off the ruck.

Boy if the Boks scored after that behind the back pass...... Boks excellent

    Pacific Nations Cup

Fiji win 30-22. Was 23-22 to Fiji with 10 to go and Tonga missed a penalty. Haven't seen the game by followed the scoreline and comments. Sounded like a decent game.

All Blacks v Argentina, 17th July, 2015, AMI stadium, Christchurch

Nonu needs to get to 100 tests......

If fast and wide is the plan, that puts huge pressure on the tight 5, firstly to hit the collisions to get clean ball, and secondly when they are fanning out, they don't get in the way of the backs.

I like that Bok 10-12-13. Has high IQ, speed and physicality. The problem will be whether Ruan's more laboured approach will provide quick ball for them to use. On the Wallaby starting team, like Barbarian I think there will be different 6/7/8 and 9/10/12 combos tried over the next few weeks...

All Blacks v Argentina, 17th July, 2015, AMI stadium, Christchurch

Very pleased to see Naholo in the side. Congratulations to him for getting his debut cap. Frank, you've been saying Dagg has been in trouble for about 2 seasons now. Those mentioning TKB, he is still with the Maori team and getting game time there given his very long injury break. He's still...

The Rugby Championship 2015: non-Wallaby matches

Team to be named tomorrow, but there is apparently a "leaked" team that has SBW and Nonu in the midfield and Dagg, Piutau and Naholo back 3. TJP and Carter at 9 and 10.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

That may all be well and true, but why should that be a reason for Jones to be looking overseas? He is clearly in the reckoning, and given the history of injuries with OZ locks he wouldn't be far from getting the call up. Plus there's next year and beyond given Jones has good years ahead of him...

You can blame Bill Young for that Groucho......

Not sure many outside the diehards would know who Slipper is exactly. So like I said Quade is the right man to help promote a Brissy test. Means he will play as well which would be the right choice in my view. Phipps, Cooper To'omua, Kurindrani Horne, Tomane Folau

I guess the ad settles one burning question on many an AB fans mind, Dagg will be in the team because he's in the ad :)

South Africa v World XV | 11 July | Cape Town

Poor quality game, but it was just positive seeing JDV running around again. An excellent player.

Samoa v All Blacks: Apia, 8/07/15

I'm not too concerned about the how the ABs played or how individual players performed. Rightly or wrongly the test match was more about the occasion. It's rare that this happens in this age of professionalism, but given the history and the link between the two countries, this was one of them...
