    CAS U16s 2016

I'm with KP on this, but don't think Glastras is a rep level no 8. Doesn't have the height and would be of limited use in the line out. Maybe he's a back up flanker, esp if he has some pilfering ability. A real shame that Cranbrook has gone uncontested this season

Versus does that and leaves verses for us to wax lyrical about the rugby

    CAS U16s 2016

Agree with Glastras only if selectors can vouch for his scrummaging ability - cranbrook having gone uncontested all season. If Murphy (W) is fit, move Moretti to 4 and Murphy to 6. Trobec moves to bench along with Shariat. Byron HD (T) to wing. Mcinerny apparently injured, but if fit I'd...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Think if you have only GPS and CAS you don't need to leave aside ISA Agree re concentration of talent being unhelpful for rugby long term, so a viable 3 or 4 association would presumably assist, though logistics would be problematic.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

I heard it was at least in part logistical. Knox for example was able to field teams to accomodate many of their Joeys counterparts, whereas there are often buses departing Hunters Hill on Saturdays bound for multiple schools across the city. If player numbers continue to decline across both...

    CAS U16s 2016

I didn't ask anyone to "pump up" the CAS team on this or any other thread. But the place for GPS supporters to pump up the Pres team is on the GPS thread.

There is mail to that affect from CAS school council quarters also. Not sure how reliable it is.

    CAS U16s 2016

Feel free to take the "geez the Pres XV are going to be red hot" and "our second team could beat 'em" discussion to the GPS next gen thread. The CAS boys selected will be giving it everything they have and don't need your negativity on this thread.

    CAS Rugby 2016

I suspect he has hit his employer's designated KPIs so on that basis it's unreasonable to say he and success cannot be mentioned in the same sentence, even if I do have reservations over the potential collateral cost.

I am on record as having misgivings about the Williams method and merely asked a question above. Any associated trumpets are in your imagination.

14 straight wins against CAS opposition - what would constitute success?
  12. CatchnPass

    CAS U16s 2016

Kitchener has not been in great form for B - looks a little rattled after probably being targeted by older/bigger opposition looking to unsettle the year 10 lad - so not sure he would make it. Reimer is B not W and would be close to my first pick. I like Kennedy (K) at 2 but haven't seen...

    CAS U16s 2016

As I understand it, the north v south process is just to select the CAS team. So not sure that nsw selectors would even be in attendance? In any event, no matter how many a school was permitted to send it's unlikely that more than 8 from any one school would make it into the CAS team, so if...

Fair call KT - missed that completely. Trinity did need all the help they could get though!

Anyone have report/score for waves v brook 16as?

    CAS Rugby 2016

Trinity only scored the one uncovered try so not sure I understand what you mean?
  17. CatchnPass

    CAS Rugby 2016

Knox over Trinity 49-5 ft. The ref clearly the star of the show - not a scrum allowed to continue without at least one lecture and reset.

    CAS Rugby 2016

Knox 2nds over Trinity 15-7. Knox 1sts 35-7 Trinity at oranges

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Agree RPS - I'll be very surprised if Lewis is preferred over Bell or Wellington over Minogue.

""""""Great to see the 16s comp has 4 competitive teams this year. I hope that injury and elevation to 1sts doesn't tip the balance too far against any one team. This weekend: A over B by 7 W over C by 25 K over T by 25
