Which Clubs are the Class of 2015 going to?

A Gordon and NSW junior with a long time ambition to be signed by the Rebels? Jack certainly understands where the bread gets buttered and good on him, though a real shame for the Tahs. "....it's been a long time dream for me since I was a kid so to sign with the Melbourne Rebels is very...

    CAS U16s 2016

Thanks Karma. Whilst BHD has come back to the pack a bit in past 2 seasons (as other boys have filled out and overtaken him size wise) he still remains pretty handy with ball in hand and a gap in front of him.

Did Byron H-D only just drop out in last 2 days? He was named in T 1sts last weekend. If so, agree that's a shame for CAS U16s as he would have been quickest man at the tournament and, whilst speed is not everything, he also knew his way to the try line.

I heard Endemann is out for some time with an ongoing knee injury. If he is not available, I would think Bell may move to 13 with Saul Lewis (N) brought in to 10 or Easy moves to 13 and Matt Minogue (K) to 12. Either way, as you say, a strong backline.

AFL is a very seductive proposition for sports and head masters. They offer to supply grounds, transport, coaches and umpires, kit and playing gear for free. Even Joeys has succumbed. Thin edge of a very thick wedge.

@JT, I too like the look of Glastras around the paddock, but unless Cranbrook start contesting scrums, I can't see how the selectors can pick him unless he is well known to them all from 2015. No.1 KPI for every THP is anchoring the scrum, and the GPS U16s scrum will be very strong. IMO...

Bill did not play for Sydney. He made Gordon reps last year on the bench but did not get much game time behind preferred Hooker Bremner and tight head/hooker Heaven.

Knox hooker Kennedy is playing up, but rock solid having done so from Yr7 and playing in a state champs winning Gordon rep side last few years and Sydney u14s last year. Had one of the better forward performances against Joeys last week.

It was getting a bit tricky to sort 16s from Opens in posts yesterday, so have taken the liberty of following GPS example in starting a separate thread for CAS 16s.

This year's competition looks to be off to a promising start with at least four 16As teams appearing competitive after round one where we saw Barker in a high scoring win over Trinity, Waves in a nail biter over Aloys and Knox in a solid win over Brook. Add your predictions, prognostications...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

The 13 is Angus Bell who has been a very strong rugby (Gordon) and league rep player for several years. Not sure that counters Armchairs point though - Bell would clearly have added some much needed penetration to the View 16As. Same for the 2nds # 1, will McLennan who Played nsw u15s last...

On matters of pies n stuff, what a wonderful anachronism Joey's Jacks Bar is. In a world full of politically correct bullshit how enjoyable it is to catch up with old mates for a couple of post match/pre dinner bevs and talk rugby rather than a quick post match exit. It is no doubt a good...

Very happy to have a separate 16s thread, but find it interesting that some of those who declare interest in Opens appear relatively reluctant to contribute whereas 16s posters seem a bit more forthcoming. In a democracy you reap as you sow. If you'd like more opens commentary, give some...

#5 Trobec had a strong running game and the back up loose Head, Tomasi? looked one to watch for the future. In the backs, winger Tom Leigh and OC Cameron had some good penetrating runs and each bagged a try.

Wow, a few sensitive types out there! I'll call it as I see it and with the best of intentions - I want these boys to play to their potential and it's easy to develop a false sense of security winning easy matches. So yes, a better effort, but against much weaker opposition. Knox forwards...

Knox 16As 36-0 over Cranbrook. A better effort than v Joeys, though the Knox forwards were still not showing a lot of urgency at the breakdown. Plenty of good players there that just need to work more as a unit and keep moving forward at the breakdown rather than stopping ang seeking to hold...

Think the above is a bit Nth centric. Im probably adding to the issue with limited knowledge apart from Sth rep players. Has anyone seen Kitchener play? Think he has been injured since trial v Joeys. New to Barker, he was U16s Country Half last year and made NSW as back up to Tejcek. He's a...

Pimples, appetite (food and girls), mumbling, compulsive use of "and stuff" to finish/link sentences, adoption of pseudo african american personae in vernacular ("Nigga WTF") .......but we are probably not helping.
