Interestingly, much the same backline as Norths 2015 u15s rep side beaten twice by the state champ Gordon side with only one GPS boy in the starting backline (4 from CAS and 2 from ISA) and only 3 GPS boys in the starting 15 vs approx 12 GPS in Norths. Of course, Gordon's Dom Easy (View - was...

Given your username I'm confident you know who they are. If you watched the match you would not be asking the Q. If not, I don't think it is helpful or fair to name 16yo boys in a critical capacity. On a positive note I know that the boys in question are very capable of producing a far better...

@Brumbie, will be same for Knox. Yes, despite a good win by Joeys 16As yesterday I don't think there is a gulf b/w CAS and GPS at this age. Opens appears to be a different story, at least partly attributable to the phenomonon you describe, but also to the more even competition which ensures...

Anyone able to report on the Waves v View U16s match won by Waves yesterday?

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

On the contrary JT, I think Knox will go very close to winning it. But they need to get back to basics and start earning it. They will be the better for yesterday's wake up call. Knox sole loss in 15As last year was to Waverley, whom Aloys did defeat. I think it will be between Knox and...

I agree with your observations above Armchair. Hard to know what to make of it as reports from the NZ tour match just completed suggested that the Knox 16A team looked very well drilled against a quality Mount Albert Grammar (Auckland) side. I do think that some of the Knox forwards who played...

Not sure what to make of your post redblack - you seem to be agreeing Knox were poor today, but at the same time disputing SDWs point that maybe that opens the door for Waves. Are Knox merely impoverished but Waves anorexic or.........?

@black&white, did the 16A new recruits Keith Titmuss (2015 Westfield Sports High) and Saul Lewis (2015 Holy Cross Ryde) play well?

19-3 Joeys at oranges. Joeys looking very well drilled and capitalising on Knox mistakes every time. Knox have had a fair share of possession and territory but are not recycling quickly enough and so run into a well set defence every time. Joeys outside backs in particular looking very slick.
