I saw them at a couple of Wallaby fan sessions last year in Sydney and found them very personable so I can understand why they are highly regarded by the fans in Queensland and the Reds. Pretty crucial to have such players in a team if they can generate positive broad media and public...

Too right, even if the jerseys were not available, the Tahs should have offered this deal as a pre-order when members signed up for the 2012 season. If you wanted to give the jersey as a Christmas gift then they could send you a certificate to give to the intended gift recipient to let them know...

The 2011 Tahs season guide had Phil Waugh at 176cm. Built like a brickwall more than makes up for it though. Two weeks out and there doesn't seem to be much publicity for the launch of the Super Rugby season. Here's hoping it picks up soon.

The ABs are scheduled to play Ireland in a three Test series on 9/16/23 June while the Boks are set to play England on the same dates. So it looks like the Wallabies are the only side to play an extra mid week Test beforehand during the Super Rugby break.

Thanks for that. I was interested to see if they have a set up like their neighbours, the Swans. They have regular open training sessions during the pre-season and season proper, which are listed on the Swans website and fans are encouraged to attend.

Do the Tahs encourage/allow fans to turn up to watch training? If so, where do they publicise the open training sessions?

I was referring to a couple of jerseys I have (Argentina/Stade Francais). But I have to admit that I have tried on an ABs jersey in the collection :oops:... not likely to ever wear it out, unless I lost a bet or moved to NZ.
