Most (if not all) of the KooGa jerseys sold to the public are described as replicas which are a looser fit than the players' jerseys. I have a couple of their jerseys for different teams in the same size and they are the same fit.

It was pretty informal other than for a brief speech from someone representing The Rugby Club. The players didn't hang around too long though, except for Sarel who was still mingling with people when I left around 8:45.

I bought one for the collection, it works out to be just over $30 (they also slug you for GST on the $10 delivery fee) once you factor in delivery. KooGa have set themselves a tough standard to maintain with their deal of the week with this week's special.

Look forward to seeing if it is off the sale price or the RRP...doubt they will get to 15,000 though. Their deal of the week (until 21/11) for a Brumbies jersey is pretty good...never thought I would see a new jersey for A$20 for a professional team.

WJ, the guy you may want to track down is Terry Curley (a Wallaby from the 1950s). At the fan forum, he was the bloke who said he hadn't been to a game or watched a game in ages, but still gave the Tahs a spray.

Wouldn't expect HSBC to pay for the costs if the Tahs made it over to HK...more of an opportunity for corporate hospitality for clients and potential clients amongst the rugby and ex-pat business community.

This is a good idea. Why should the Tahs have to listen to your feedback if you don't have some "skin in the game"?

Hong Kong would probably be a good fit for the Tahs since their major sponsor is HSBC, one of the major banks in HK.

No worries. The catalogue was brought out from behind the counter and shown to me when I asked about the 2012 Tahs jersey. BTW, Canterbury are starting their annual warehouse sale on 10 November so you may like to wait until then to visit if you haven't been there yet.

#1 Tah - RE: 2012 Waratahs jersey...I was at the Canterbury store in Alexandria last week and was shown a catalogue with the 2012 Tahs range. From memory, the home jersey is the traditional sky blue with navy piping and the away jersey is predominantly white this time around.

The 2012 Tahs jersey will be the same design as that worn by the 2011 RWC teams that use Canterbury jerseys.
