Darcy Swain looks like he will be something special. Bell as well.

Muirhead for who? I doubt either MK or Kellaway need a break just yet and both have been playing very well. With Hodge starting we need JOC (James O'Connor) or Lolesio coming on to the bench you would think. How long is Vunivalu out for? Daugunu also looks close.

Thankfully Vermeulen will be otherwise occupied this Saturday and that may be why we go for a more mobile pack?

Thats not entirely true. Like Hooper McMahon used to play well above his weight.

Swain back in will give us a stronger lineout presence assuming Swinton gets a break

It will be good to see him run around again in gold

What happens with McMahon after these two tests? Does he come to Europe with the squad or is he back in Japan? Is this about convincing him to return to Oz or would he be one of the two OS players selected for future Wallaby squads? Our back row stocks seem to be very healthy right now and our...

It would be nice if both make the move to Super Rugby.

Banks is our best under the high ball. I have seen Petaia take a few that were just incredible. He has special hand eye co-ordination. With Banks the rest of his game is inconsistent. Missing line kicks at crucial points and he never seems to be able find the space he does at Super Rugby level. He needs...

Anyway, if they cite him so be it. He could hardly open the eye and video is clear. He was not faking.

Do you think Quade was faking it? If so it was convincing. I’m waiting for the citing.

No one seems to worried about it but it looks clear to me on the second swipe. We saw the result with Cooper down for treatment and clearly distressed. De Koch very lucky but one to watch in future games. Attacking the face of an opponent is surely reason for a send off?

Petaia is another big body. He is fast, strong and has as much natural ability as anyone else in the squad. This would be a good week to give him and JOC (James O'Connor) time at 15, unless of course Hodge is locked in. He was not great in the air against the Boks but he made a couple of telling plays. He also...

The cards to Swinton and the SA reserve back rower are a little open to interpretation but this incident is straight up thuggery and de Koch needs to face serious consequences. No place for it in the game. https://rugbyonslaught.com/eye-gouge-claim-leveled-against-the-springboks/

I think it will be fine. The Boks tried to go wide much more this week without joy. Their passing was horrible. Not used to it I guess? Of course there will be changes as some of these players have gone quite a few tests without a break. I’d like to JOC (James O'Connor) at fullback, Petaia getting a start...

He has history with this and he keeps challenging in a grey area. He needs to go lower in the chest area. It will keep getting him in trouble if not.

Both of those players have an Israel Folau type skill set. Folau was also a manufactured fullback based on his skills and moved quickly into the position at the highest level. Agreed that Petaia needs some time playing there.

Ultimately Petaia is our best option at 15. Hes good under the high ball, has a decent boot and has the rugby IQ with speed to burn. Hopefully we will see him there in Super Rugby next year. He is best when in space.
