Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

The jury is still out on Noah. We need to go to the RWC with one experienced 10 and one or two up and comers in the squad. It makes sense to have a look at Cooper now. I’d play him off the bench though and if he goes well give him a start against one of the other teams. If JOC (James O'Connor) legitimately...

It will be easier for Lolesio having Kerevi just out side of him. Its possible that they will play him at 13 with To'omua at 12 but It would be good to see 12 Kerevi 13 Ikitau. Also Quade on the bench.

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

I doubt they will start Kaitu’u as he is uncapped. McDermott is the incumbent and he looked very good starting.

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

I agree with tragic. As an aside Kerevi expected to start and Quade in the zone. Surprisingly Uelese released with the return of Kaitu’u. No problem with him coming back but surely you would keep Uelese around as injury cover...

Bledisloe III at Perth, 5/09/21 - 4pm AEST

Definition of insanity……blah blah blah. Hes not ready. Not fair on him if there are other more experienced options. He needs time to mature and may or may not end up being a decent test 5/8. I see that Noddys son has signed with the Reds for 2022. That will be interesting!

Paisami and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) also on baby duty so not in Perth. Hopefully this means we will see both Rodda and Kerevi. Who will be at 10? Not sure if JOC (James O'Connor) is there or not.

Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

I dont think we should be too hard on Petaia. He saw hardly any ball, which is a big problem in that he can be a major strike weapon. That is not to say he is not in form, as Rennie attested too prior to the test. A couple of times Paisami tried to go wide to him too quickly with disastrous...

Bledisloe #1 New Zealand vs Australia, August 7 2021

I doubt it. Fraser McReight is very hard on the ball and has a work rate not far off Hoopers. Horses for courses and he is a good bench option for this test. I have not seen LFG playing for a while but even at his best it would be a close run contest with McReight.

    Wallabies 2021

Stick him at 13 and cut him out if you want to go wide. That could be one heck of a backline. Koreibete and Vunivalu will be right on his coat tails. 10. JOC (James O'Connor) 11. Koreibete 12. Paisami 13. Kerevi 14. Vunivalu 15. Petaia

    Wallabies 2021

Better still if we played him and he tore them up. It would not surprise to see him on the bench at some point to back up Lolesio seeing that JOC (James O'Connor) is not on the plane.

Ahhhh………..wrong. It means a lot and has always provided all of our Super players and then Wallabies.

    Wallabies 2021

If its within 7 days then why wouldn’t they depart in 6?
  14. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2021

Petaia at 13 and Vunivalu on the wing. Most likely they go on to the bench for Bled 1 but both are an upgrade. Rennie may play Petaia on the wing with a view to eventually moving him to fullback and down the line Vunivalu may become an option at 13.

    Wallabies 2021

Ideal scenario is Paisami at 12 and Petaia at 13. I think that Rennie will have a chat with Kerevi if the dates align. When does the Olympic sevens tournament end? Vunivalu, JOC (James O'Connor), Petaia, White all straight back into the 23 when fit.

Bell looks really good for so early in his career and he is a very big man. He’ll only get better and we have a couple of blokes with considerable test experience to help bring him along.

    Wallabies 2021

Yes, he’s a true linkman who interplays well in the wider channels with the outside backs as well as in close with the halves and other forwards. Hes also a very good defender and he understands what is required in the tight. We are lucky to all of a sudden have these options.

    Wallabies 2021

I’d guess that Swinton played his way into being the preferred starting 6, Wilson has a firm hold on number 8 and Valetini is a perfect bench option. Naisarani and McReight very good options in case of injury. Naisarani has a lot of power but lacks the linking abilities of a well rounded 8. Hes...

Wallabies v France, Brisbane, Sat 17th July, 8pm

It was a pretty tough call. Philip and Uelese pushed right over the top of him clearing out.

BPA was a revelation last night. His best test without question. We will miss him.
