    Waratahs vs Chiefs - 2011R07

This is going to be an interesting game, and a lot is going to depend on which Chief's team turns up. Those backs have the ability to really put the points on if they are on song.

Gee, how strong is Uni going to be again this year? Love to see a full strength Uni teamsheet, it will be pretty hard to top.

    Beale at 10

Don't agree, otherwise Billy Slater and Matt Bowen would be there for their respective NRL sides. I don't think league is that different from union in that in both codes you put your best playmaker in the primary playmaker role. If you don't have a playmaker then you put your best player...

    Quade Cooper?

We all know his tackling style is dreadful, but that aside I actually think Cooper has shown us a bit more this season. He seems more composed in general, and is selecting his options to suit the game at hand. His goalkicking seems to have improved, his field position and tactical kicking were...

    Reds 2011

Well done to Prior and Shipperley for making the SA trip squad. Prior will obviously be on the bench next week with the injury to Lucas. It will be interesting to see who plays at fullback next week.

    Rebels MOM v the Horrorcanes

He was a 10 at school level and played off the bench for Qld 2, behind Matt To'omua. So he could very well be an option.

You should try being in the stands Reddy, it's like a frigging sauna. Does anyone know whether you can view the game properly from the Rugby Club at Suncorp? Am a member but have never used that facility.

Matt Burke's article in the SMH on the Waratahs

Just read the article and have to say that I agree with most of Burke's sentiments. It wasn't that the players weren't trying. They turned up with the wrong attitude and went to water when things didn't go to script. Poor form I know but I can't stand it when crowds boo. They should have...

I'm going tomorrow and the one thing I am dreading is feeling as uncomfortably hot as I did during that Force game. Ridiculous game scheduling!

the bolded bit. Chambers not in the 22 again. I wonder whether he is being tempted to return to the dark side? My take on Vaalu's inclusion last season was that he was QC (Quade Cooper)'s defence proxy, a role that has been assumed by Ben Lucas this year.

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

They take 26 on tour don't they? That would more than likely the 22 playing on Saturday plus four others. Gill and Quirk would both be a big chance to be in the 26.

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

Not sure that anyone has been too harsh on Taps. He was played out of position and at times that looked pretty evident. Most of us are hoping he has a blinder at 13, or else gets time at 12 to show his skills off to best advantage.

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

I wasn't too far away although I am surprised that both Quirk and Gill have been dropped out of the 22. Schatz must be the back up openside, and he definitely needs game time before the SA tour. Good to see that there hasn't been too much tinkering with the side that won by lots last week...
