Responsible for the demise of rugby in Australia? Do you mean now that he's turned around Australian soccer, just like he did when he took over the ARU? Hopefully that too will go to the shithouse when he leaves.

We've picked players at that stage of their development before. Horan and Giteau went alright. But yes, England's too important. The polar opposite of a development tour. Maybe an Argie test, if we're traveling well by then.

DHP is worth a shot. He'd be putting his hand up even without injuries. Not an out-and-out speedster though.

    Crusaders v Waratahs, Round 13, 20 May 2016

Marto is a total idiot. He came up with this zinger on the weekend. "The Brumbies have been attacking without success for the last ten minutes. They can't kick now, as that'd be an admission of defeat." Erm, right.

Jarryd Hayne signs with Fiji Sevens

He was already a 'good' international player, methinks. He was badly handled to say the least. Several good coaches should've stuck him at six and instructed him to smash people in the 10 / 12 channel in attack and defence, which he was / is exceptionally good at. Problem is that England doesn't...

Jarryd Hayne signs with Fiji Sevens

Fox replay the sevens games several times starting the next day. The cumulative ratings must be quite high.

You certainly predict Waratah losses often, and with relish, galumay! Tahs by ten with another step up in form.

Jarryd Hayne signs with Fiji Sevens

    He could be their "Wally".

Jarryd Hayne signs with Fiji Sevens

It makes perfect sense. Fiji aren't short of players, they're short of money. Desperately so. Ben Ryan had to pay his own way for four months when he started coaching them. Hayne is not just a drawcard but makes Fiji a potential sponsorship target, not because of his skills, but because of the...

Frisby's boot would be a real asset in closing out games.

Lilo can cover 10 perfectly well from the field. The priority is to get seven test-quality backs out there.

Hodge must be considered a real possibility. He's what Godwin promised to be, with added sidestep.

I'll eat my Wallaby jersey if Debra gets a run. The Canterbury one, with the chewy textured man-bra. Debraczini has all the flakiness of the young Amigos, with little of the exceptional performance upside. Obviously he'll get better, but not yet

    Waratahs v Bulls, Round 12, 14 May 2016

He didn't muck it up. The patella went as he was launching. His leg then collapsed because of the injury. I doubt even a keyboard warrior could get into the air without a patella tendon, which is the main structural ligament of the leg.

    The Wallabies Thread

You're not being shut down because you're suggesting a Force player, even if you predicted it beforehand. That's just neurotic. Godwin is promising player, for sure, but he's nowhere near international quality at this stage, which is a shame, because three years ago it seemed certain he would...

He has to play some good footy. The national team is no place to see if he can.

Lilo would go fine at 12 for the Wobs.

    Waratahs v Bulls, Round 12, 14 May 2016

I heard on the coverage that Beale has a patella tendon tear. If it's a complete tear then that's a surgery-type injury and possibly season-ending.

    Waratahs v Bulls, Round 12, 14 May 2016

Good game Tahs. Good signs going forward. Better to be coming up at the end, as my old clubbing mates used to say. Great performance Dave Dennis. Kudos also to perpetual motion Phipps: all the scrumhalf the Wallabies need.
