Australian Rugby Union (ARU) - Positivity Thread

The centre pairing looks very promising and we should be patient in helping it develop.

We have absolutely confirmed that we will not win the 2015 RWC via; Box kicking Scrummaging Line kicking

Player movements for Shute Shield 2014

I don't know but I hope the response isn't " A chance to be part of a great club with 1st class coaching, superior facilities and a fantastic culture", because Sydney Uni own that package.

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

I'd love to see rucking come back but it will never return. The IRB cannot condone an action where a player uses their boots to trample on the opposition. It is unacceptable for television viewing (in these days of close-ups), and puts too many Mums and Dads off letting little Johnny play the game.

    Waratahs 2014

We'll become the laughing stock of world rugby if we resort to asking our Mum to play.

Australia Vs. England, Twickenham, 2nd November 2013

Some observations; - Genia looks like he needs a break from rugby. His running game has deserted him and he looks flat and tired. - Thank God for Hooper's early low tackles on England's ball runners before they gained momentum. - Again the Wallabies lacked low body height and leg drive. - We won...

    Jonathan Kaplan retires

As frustrated as we get with refs, imagine how frustrated they must become with players.

    'Distinguished' is the term.

I'm hoping Paddy Ryan comes through.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

I have no vested interests in any of the schools or outcomes but it seems that Dr Lambert may have to fall on his sword. Anyone else here think this is going to get better with time without some strike breaking measure soon?

Can you do the racing form for tomorrow too please Kiap?

Union or League? The pros and cons for school leavers

You need to look at Muggleton's recent record as defensive coach for the Melbourne Rebels. Of all of Phil Blake's wonderful playing skills, tackling wasn't one of them.

    Jonathan Kaplan retires

I have also heard positive comments about Joubert's generosity towards up and coming younger referees.

Did you say Harvard are offering scholarships too............incoming !!!!

    Jonathan Kaplan retires

Your question to Waratah's fans about Kaplan is equivalent to asking Springbok fans about Bryce Lawrence.

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

    Wanna buy some jousting sticks?
  17. It is what it is

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

I think he's an arrogant prat but boy he can play rugby. He's only 23 and will be back in the Wallaby set up within 12 months.
  18. It is what it is

    Collective Bargaining Agreement

Don't forget that it's a shrinking pie for everyone at the moment and Pulver did clear the decks of expensive staff at the ARU to do his bit. Like all successful negotiations it was give and take by all parties. You may find the RUPA "players" numbers might have increased too.
  19. It is what it is

    JOC (James O'Connor) Gooonne

I think there's a lot of resentment towards JOC (James O'Connor) because he seems to be pissing his prodigious talent down the drain through regular selfish behaviour and antics that disrespect the privilege of representing the Wallabies. Is he an axe murderer, no. He should face charges of "regularly behaving...
