    Australian Rugby / RA

The potential is there with Super Rugby Trans- Tasman already. A professional and properly managed and marketed (the Aussie sides really need to lift here) competition should and has been fantastic. The NZ teams have history and prestige. This is going to offend some folk around here, but a...

    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

It was a pretty typical result for when the top NZ teams play our guys. How can we compete with players who are not only equal to better rugby players but just fundamentally far better athletes? I mean Ryan/Grealy compared to Narawa/ Seturo is just comical.

Hardly disingenuous when it’s straight fact.

    Australian Rugby / RA

It’s pretty obvious here who actually watches NRL/ Joseph consistently and who doesn’t. Josephs biggest strengths at the moment are that he’s big, strong and surprisingly physical for a young guy in the outside backs. He’s also decent in the air. The counter to that is his defensive reads are...

    Australian Rugby / RA

I understand you’re his biggest advocate, but saying this is his first disciplinary issue is blatantly incorrect. The guy has been kneeing people in the head for a couple of years now.

I understand your point but you don’t pay $2m a year for Freddie Steward. You pay that much for Izzy Folau.

Do you understand how a contract works?

The best XV of players from any school

Edmed was on a cricket scholarship funnily enough.

    Waratahs v Reds - Friday 31/5

Some fantastic contributions here (and in general).

What’s his point of difference? A little bit of mongrel?

    Wallabies 2024

I don’t think Foketi or Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) deserve selection this year. Apart from Paisami we are really lacking quality 12s.

    Waratahs 2025

I think much of it has to do with the systems/ teams that these players end up in. Does anyone seriously think that Mack Hansen is one of the top wingers in the world and would make a material difference to the Wallabies?

Battle of the Wooden Spoon: Moana Pasifika v Waratahs

Just watched the game and there’s some poor takes as usual in this place. There are some things I can accept; the front row being outclassed and Edmed being limited. What shouldnt be acceptable, especially from some of our senior players. Foket making multiple poor decisions in defence that led...

    Wallabies 2024

You wouldn’t want either of Hooper or Eru starting at 8 for the Wallabies. Holloway could do it.

I’m waiting for Brumby Runner to say Tom Hooper too. But they key word is capably.

    Wallabies 2024

Holloway is our only forward who can capably play 4,6 or 8. That makes him pretty valuable in a Wallabies set up.

    Waratahs 2025

Does Manenti have any experience in a professional 15-side franchise?

    Waratahs 2025

So if he can pass both ways and kicl but not break a tackle it’s fine? We have Bayley Kuenzle to do that for a lot less cash. He’s getting paid X factor cash so he needs to do more.

    What’s your solution pnut?

    Waratahs 2025

My only issue with Sua'ali'i is that he’s shown so little in attack (although oddly he’s been tough). For the hype that he received as a schoolboy you’d expect Greg Inglis or Israel Folau- type athleticism and he’s no where near that talented.
