    Rugby TV Shows

Good answers by Robbie tonight to the JOC (James O'Connor) questions: "Yeh, he's developing as a 10, he played as a good ten in the last 20 minutes of the second test" "He isn't very experienced at 10, give him some time" "They haven't played together much (lilo, Beale, JOC (James O'Connor)), so there were going to be some...

    long term coach?

Out of interest, why White over Ewen? I completely agree that his world cup win is a massive boost to his CV but I feel as though it's really Ewen's time. He's been assistant to one of Australia's most successful head coaches. Ever. He's led a massive revival at the Reds not only on the field...

    long term coach?

Won't argue the first part because that will end up in a shitstorm, but I do agree with that sentence. He has built a massive base for the next coach. Blooded a heap of players and introduced all of them into the international environment and that is one thing he can be very proud of. The...

    long term coach?

I personally believe that there is a difference between coaching a premier league team in Man U and being at the helm of an international rugby union powerhouse. There is less money involved, the governing body (ARU vs Man U board) are funded in extremely different ways and most importantly, in...

Australia v British & Irish Lions, 3rd Test (Sydney)

Watch the replays. He says 'scrum' to Horwill as does Sanchez.

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 3

So did Mowen. Kev has his Brains Trust. Genia doesn't have a cool enough head to work over the referee or handle the players if a mistake is made (read: O'Connor kick out on the full). He's a brilliant mashaller (is that a word?) of the troops and gets them fired up but I think you need a calm...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

en_force_er, as much as I'd like to disagree, I think your comment that his tactics and gameplan are sound, I do think you're absolutely right. THey have merit and they have proven to be successful numerous times in the past. But the key issue for me is your comment above. Are we the kiwis...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

You're absolutely right and it makes me sad to think that will be the case... I know I should be taking option B but watching a dysfunctional backline with a winger at flyhalf just makes me cringe... How can the (supposedly) best coach in Australia not see that there is an issue with that...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Execution is just as much an issue with team culture and coaching as it is to do with the players. They are all absolute world class players so to claim that there is some sort of inherent issue with their ball handling that is nothing to do with the coaching stuff is ignorant of what they have...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Not only that, he doesn't know who the F*ck the flyhalf is! Is it Kurtley? Is it James? Is it Lilo? Is it the bloody forward pack? There is a serious issue there as half the time O'Connor has his head at the bottom of a ruck or plays a "take it to the line move" so there is no backline set...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Mirror image of last week. I thought the Lions were the better team tonight and made far less errors. Wallabies showed, as always, that their pride and passion for the jersey will overcome the shockingly undeveloped game plan put in place by those above them. They have to go away this week...

Inside ball option for lilo?? Revolutionary positional playmaking by RD?

I can see the headlines: ARU point to Internal division as Faceless men of IRB challenge own decision.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

It was certainly interesting watching Owen Farrell play a "quade/reds" brand of rugby against the Rebels. It was great to see them run the ball and one of his cross field kicks was absolutely brilliant. Dropped it onto the right foot and it flew almost a few degrees behind him to their winger...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I think its more for the experience he offers regardless of whether hes in the 23 or not. It's the same reason Paul O'Connell is staying on tour. They're figureheads in the team and provide leadership and inspiration whether they're playing or not.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Again, as much as I think Tomane is good, he doesn't offer the balance that Cummins would bring. Let's not forget the Deans loves his 'balance' so It would be nice if he stuck with his word for once and actually chose players on the criteria he so often preaches. Tomane was touted as the next...

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

I whole heartedly disagree with your first comment. Rugby 08 is god of all sporting games!!! Seems to be an issue with the Wobs management at this stage. Ioane and now these two?

He's the 2.5 million dollar man! Maybe he just thinks he'll pay his way through the charges?
