    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

I agree. I asked the question prior to the test - Will Quade get a run? In my mind he wouldn't get a run unless injury and sure enough he's got splinters. It seems he hasn't really worked out what his strategy is when it comes to using the bench and recognising the opportunities that might be...

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

A major concern which has received much media attention since the election of Abbott in 2013, has been the integrity of Indigenous related programs and grants. That's why he (rightly or wrongly) brought all programs into his portfolio and department (PM&C). There has been high profile matters...

Storm in a teacup, or more serious?

Any monies provided by a State Government or Cth in a grant would have a contract or deed that outlined approved activities for the use of those specific funds. All Govt contracts/deeds require a valid Australian bank account for the money to be transferred. The recipient of the grant would...

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Arnold, Coleman and Timani all need to start and play in the same positions they were against Wales. All three of them are still very much wet behind the ears at test level and need as much game time as possible. I think they could go into this test with starting only one of Hooper or Pocock...

Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Yeah I saw the pass, it was a simple short pass to the right that went all of a few meters to a free man inside. What I'm talking about were at least two occasions I recall where a simple draw and pass would've been far more beneficial than just tucking it under the arm. He doesn't seem to be...

Well done Wallabies. A much better all round performance. More confrontational at the ruck especially when the ball was pushed wide. Kurindrani helped in that regard. Folau's lack of passing game was exposed last night. Offload no problem, but he doesn't have that natural passing game and...

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

It might not be expressly written in, but if a player is on big bikkies from the ARU there is the return on investment factor....

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

If there are players that worried about money they should go and play overseas in France or whatever. The ability of Folau and his manager to negotiate whatever he has and the fact the ARU (and third parties) have agreed to it shouldn't concern any one else. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Medicare Matt and Andrew Walker slotted in pretty well from what I recall. Hello, Lote, Tahu, Cross all looked a little lost out there to start out.

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

There are a host of reasons why some players get selected (and others don't), and it's not just what happens on the training park.

As durable as Foley is, it would be very high risk not to go into a big test of a GS without a backup 1st 5. I doubt Hodge or Frisby are running the cutter at training. If Beale, Giteau, To'omua, Lilo were in the side you could get away with the halfback + Kurindrani bench.

Really? Fardy could get you a turnover or three a game? Also I think Saturday's turnover stat needs to be looked at in the context of how little possession the ABs. Even so, the problem still remains about what happens once that turnover is won. There are still issues with offloads, support...

I know you're a fan BR, but I just haven't seen anything in Fardy's form/play this season that has any more upside than Mumm this year.

I noticed that about Moore as well and thought that's more like the old Moore. The balance in the loose forwards was good IMO and it really showed in how well the Aussies did in securing their ruck ball.

The citing Commissioner and judiciary has actually done a huge favour for the forum as well, because we won't have to hear all the same old arguments of why he shouldn't be selected and then the bleating after the team is named questioning why he's there. A bit of clear air for GAGR :) For...

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

Could part of the reason be that Foley is a better defender than Quade in that 10 channel and Cheika might be interested in seeing how things play out with the 10/12/13 and back three defending in their relative positions at set piece etc. Rather than all the shuffling that occurs. Speight is...

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

Yeah what's the go with Slipper? A year or so ago he was being touted as future captain material and was playing excellent footy at set piece and open play. Now he can't make a 23 (or 24).
