    2017 Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Poor tackle by OZ left winger. YC for him as Welsh no8 has his head slammed into ground.

    2017 Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Another good read and penalty win by the OZ 7. OZ can't get any possession. Wales doing a good job playingbat the right end of the field. OZ scrum looking very good.

That right winger for Wales is a big unit. Well done by the OZ openside to get that penalty.

Not a great start for OZ. Some passive defence. Wales lead 7-0 after 7 minutes.

France stuffed up. Baby Boks got the draw with a try and conversion after the 80

I didn't mind that last penalty call. Italian player went straight off his feet. But pleased that Italy won though. They played some decent rugby.

French 1st 5 has nailed a couple of good droppies. French halfback is playing well. Baby Boks look a little lost in attack.

2017 RD15 Auckland Blues vs QNLD Reds (In Samoa)

Firstly, can't stand the way the Brimbies are playing their footy right now. It's shocking. I joined the Fern and old Yellow Scarf whilst living in Canberra. Imagination is my middle name.........

2017 RD15 Auckland Blues vs QNLD Reds (In Samoa)

It's funny, had the Reds beat the Force last week, I probably would've been cheering for the Reds to win this weekend. It's part of my "any team other than the Brumbies to make the finals" campaign

I wouldn't select one Reds player in a combined Blues-Reds side.........

    Rebels v Crusaders

Looked ugly at the ground, the McMahon injury. Looked to me like a dislocated elbow the way it was just hanging there. Just read the thread and found it amusing as watching live, I thought Glen "Hometown" Jackson was just that, helping the home side as he usually does......

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

Pulu, a great defender as a halfback, but his attacking game is poor. He was rubbish again tonight.

As zero said not any more. It used to be a system where a super franchise could "protect" players from provinces within a catchment region. The franchise got first dibs each season unless there was a contract from a previous season in place.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

In the commercial world that would not be too dissimilar to what happens on a fairly regular basis. BHP owns mine X. Engages Contractor Y to do mining operations for certain period. Contractor Y gets Sub-contractor Z to do haulage for a period of 3 years. Cost over runs, delays, low prices etc...

Force v Highlanders at NIB - Round 13

Reg, every Friday? That would be a tough sell given the dominance of Friday Night Football for the two bigger codes

DP, Fozzie did take the Chiefs to the finals. His selections were his downfall, but they select by committee in the ABs and no doubt since 2012 being around Hansen and Smith he will have learned a thing or two.

    Unpopular opinion thread

Thank goodness for those world best players and "dominate" forward pack, team mates that put on their cloaks of invisibility, climbed on each other's shoulders that hit the ball to change directions so it would go over the cross bar and through the sticks.

    Unpopular opinion thread

No death threats from me, but just on Carter and playing with halfbacks that hit the mark, I think differently given he played with Marshall, Weepu and Cowan, all of which were not great passers and often criticised for it. Weepu looked around way to much and allowed the ball to sit at the base...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think it goes without saying that professional rugby is business first and foremost. The business of entertainment and event management. So naturally, your first two points follow.
