Off topic... Did you play W:et? On topic I reckon thorns done a great job given where we were. We dominated the Aus conference playing a nz game plan. We just lose to the kiwi teams coz we are basically a really really bad kiwi side.

Crusaders 42 Reds 24 *Edit* would dearly love to be wrong, but I think the crusaders will smash us early on and then sub their players off to protect them and we will score some points to make it interesting before their subs score a further 10 before the end of the match to seal the deal.

Not rugby related, but shows what doing extras and concentration on technique and execution can do.... It's the basis of his whole channel. The dude got invited to play a solo at a tool concert. Watch what he does before hand... He picks the hardest parts to go over as a warm up to help with...

I personally didn't think that needed to be said tbh. I certainly didn't think that he was saying that 31 laps walking around while smashing down cheeseburgers was better than 30 laps at high intensity and with attention to proper technique. Plenty of people spend more money on their own...

Disagree. The players themselves are also a consistent theme. They can choose to do no more than their lawyer given rights forces them to do under their RUPA CBA (which was comically short a couple of years ago) , or they can choose to do the extras and work on their basic skills (and that...

    CruSadists v Reds 27/05/22 at A.R.S.E.

it's not the training staff. It's the players. If they dedicated themselves to doing the extras to be able to execute the basic skills, then the game plan would be working. Thorn and training crew got the Reds to beat every Australian side comprehensively by executing a basic kiwi style...

Brumbies vs Blues, Sat May 21, 2022, Canberra

By geebus, *you're* hard of understanding. You just quoted me saying it's a defensive tactic they use across multiple games.

Brumbies vs Blues, Sat May 21, 2022, Canberra

I'm contending that the Brumbies cynical defensive tactics benefit from inconsistent or poor refereeing more often than not. This was one of the "not" occasions. (I.e. the referee had impact). IMHO, an infringement within the 22 whilst under penalty advantage should be an automatic yellow...

I've only watched the highlights package so far... This post makes me now want to watch it reeeaaaalll close. I'll be interested to see just how many penalty advantages there were during the game and how many points were scored whilst under penalty advantage or yellow cards. The highlights...

Brumbies vs Blues, Sat May 21, 2022, Canberra

I didn't get a chance to watch the game last night - Blues managed to score an easy try off the scrum while the brumbies looked to be a player or two down. What was the yellow card for?
