    Well, prepare to be flabbergasted.

Please open the other thread back up - at least then the shit is confined to one place.

Clyne has to involve himself in his replacement so he can ensure that they are as bad or worse than he was. That way he can not be shown up by his successor. The problem he faces is that such a candidate may not actually exist.

    Wallaby Coach Conga Line

7 pages in is way to early to invoke Goodwin's law

    Wallaby Coach Conga Line

A salient point. It's quite possible.

    Wallaby Coach Conga Line

I think it's important to keep things in perspective. He was given an almost bottomless sum of money with England (and he's not going to have that in australia), a huge player base to draw from (and he's not going to have that in australia), and players that historically seem to have responded...

Written by someone who has never held a managing position in Australia. I don't care if you now claim you have - you clearly haven't by the utter shit you just wrote right there.

    Wow. That's impressive

And when we followed his work load philosophy, how did we go?

    NRC onwards and upwards

And take it seriously. Stop marketing it as "third tier". (And one of the teams that wins the Horan-Little shield needs to act like a prick and not put it up for just any game they play. Force the opposition to win it off you at home FFS. I can't recall any team doing that too often if at all)

RWC 2019 Final: England v South Africa

I really enjoyed that win. A great team who clearly worked really hard and intelligently towards that outcome. A credit to all who made it happen.

    Reds 2020

I remember a reds match where there were no on field sponsors markings, only the lines. But the TV vision I saw later had augmented reality sponsors logos to make it look like they were there. The close ups in the broadcast clearly didn't have the sponsors logos either, only the usual camera...

I think Jones would be a mistake for the wallabies... again. England and Japanese rugby culture is just all kinds of different. He'll get the aussie players offside just like he did last time and they'll not respond. He will also not have the benefit of a 10/12 that can do every illegal...

It doesn't necessarily need to be one or the other. Could be that the coach was deluded *and* that the players have not been fully professional in their approach to the game. (And it doesn't need to be all the players, either)

not quite the important part... the important part of that graph is that the lead ins to the world cup show upward trends, except for the lead ins to 2015 and 2019 which are the complete reverse

RWC 2019 1/4 Final Japan vs South Africa

What The Fuck ? Based on all of the decisions this past year that was clearly a yellow card as a minimum.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

Not disagreeing on the pigheaded part - I would have picked more of them too. But I just disagree with your comments about the brumbies being up there with the best. Their results clearly showed they were a sizeable step down from the best. The conference system does not help us here - it...

RWC 2019 1/4 Final England vs Australia

They actually do have a better set up. That is a proven fact by numerous years of results - but that does not mean that they are immune to criticism. I think their proximity to the AIS has something to do with it, but also their remoteness from the absolute incompetence of institutions like...
