    Ballymore Redevelopment

There's usually a reason these prime bits of inner city land ended up as "recreational" areas......

I don't think Liam Gill ever played another test....

That was the Dublin night out tour wasn't it? Possibly a bit of a lack of leadership on the tour bus

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

He just kept having season-ending injuries in Super Rugby. He's had six major injuries since 2021. Never out of favour, just never fit to be selected

2024 Under 20 Rugby Champs all match discussion thread

Listed player weights are the biggest joke in all of rugby. HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) probably giggles to himself every time he writes that number down in his player profile

    Wallabies 2024

I'm here for 1 game Wallaby captains, slot the next player-in straight in to the skipper role each week. We could probably get through the next 20+ tests this way if Schmidt handles injury and replacements the way his predecessors did.

    Waratahs 2025

All NPC players are employed by NZRU, and subject to the NZ collective employment agreement It won't be NZRU that blocks any large influx of Australian players, it will be the NZR players association.

Wilson not yet fit after breaking his arm

    Wallabies 2024

Valetini, Wright, Cale? Getting strong Ben Mowen vibes from Wright. Best captain in the side, but a fair chance he ends up in France in a year or two without a Wallaby top-up.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Staff and coaches were made redundant by the administrator and re-engaged by RA directly on short-term contracts to 30 June. The players had existing contracts with RA (+Super Rugby team) which were honored by RA, so no change to existing arrangements for them

    Ballymore Redevelopment

I reckon a CBA comparing the two would be a lot more favourable to Perry Park, with the uplift possible in Bowen Hills that is just not there around Ballymore. You could imagine a bunch of new pubs/restaurants/ entertainment options springing up around that precinct. I agree that neither are...

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Why'd they have to do us dirty like that Taking off my rugby hat, Perry Park is a far more suitable location for a stadium of this type

    Aussie Player Exodus

Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) will be released to the Roosters as soon as his Olympic Sevens commitment is over (and then likely to play a couple of games of NSW Cup to finish the year) Angus Crichton has re-signed as well

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

I didn't think LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) had announced a signing anywhere yet?

The Sports medicine physician who undertook the review, Dr Martin Raftery, has been the Chief Medical Officer for World Rugby for over a decade. At some point you just have to trust that these sort of people actually do know what they are doing

Will be interesting to see if KB (Kurtley Beale) fits the profile here. It wouldn't be surprising Risk factors.... * Age - yes * heavy loading - yes, been in Wallaby camp after a long layoff, game was on the artificial turn at Easts * previous injury - ? Does KB (Kurtley Beale) have a recent lower leg injury?

    Michael Hooper: "What a ride!"

Opta sports did a series of tweets last year which really summed up just how good he was * 4th most caps for Australia * Played in 86% of Australia's tests since his debut Since his debut, in tests * most tackles made, across all nations * most metres made, across all nations * most tries...
