If these guys are concerned about the cost of living in Sydney I've got some bad news for them about the cost of hiring a "high class" private trainer for a season of one-on-one sessions

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

I'm 1.96cm and I'm well above 95kg, but also not working out like a pro-rugby player :p. I would have been just about too light at 95kg in schoolboy rugby

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

It's quite a strange team. The Welsh fans are not impressed

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

There we go! Good news. I should never have ditched twitter

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

It's a bit simplistic to just blame NZRU. There wasn't a shotclock at the ground last week in Sydney, and as far as I'm aware, we aren't going to have a shotclock at the ground for the test match in Melbourne this weekend

    He's 1.95m tall. There's no way he's 95kg

Wales XV to face Australia (apologies for the stupid NH numbering system......) 15. Cameron Winnett (Cardiff Rugby – 6 caps) 14. Liam Williams (Kubota Spears – 91 caps) 13. Owen Watkin (Ospreys – 40 caps) 12. Mason Grady (Cardiff Rugby – 13 caps) 11. Rio Dyer (Dragons – 21 caps) 10. Ben Thomas...

Yeah, this is a Super Rugby/SANZAAR problem, not a technology one. It can easily be solved, there just hasn't been anyone driving a solution

They don't get the benefit of pro level training, fitness, weights programs, injury recovery, physios dieticians etc etc. QC (Quade Cooper) could afford to pay for all of this when BT threw him out. Your average reserve Super Rugby player won't be able to

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

The real issue here is there are currently 4 clocks running. The ref's, the official timekeeper's, the broadcaster's and the ground crew's Because there is no coordination between Stan, SkyNZ, the actual producers of the broadcast, and the various grounds across 4(?) countries, it's all kind of...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

We should probably call it a spending cap, not a salary cap. Either way, nobody will be checking it next year

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

I think the Brumbies have the Gold Coast don't they?

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Liverpool and Randwick, that's in Queensland!

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Salary cap will be flexible.next year, and RA will be sharing the costs of any player who transfers to another team. From what we know (which could well be wrong) Tahs have room for 5 or 6 players, Reds almost none. The Reds do have a couple of players with unknown contract status still...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

Did somebody say Nick CHAMPION de CRESPIGNY

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

"Agents for 11 players are holding out for more money to play in Sydney" isn't quite as catchy a headline as what they went with is it?

    Wallabies 2024

OK, if Wright is injured there is clearly a Wallaby Captain's curse in place. It must have something to do with Dave Rennie. Anyone know if he is in to the occult?

    Wallabies 2024

What do we think about Schmidt's new "everyone gets one game" approach to captaincy. Personally, I love the innovation.

Wallabies v Wales Game 2 Sat 13 July Melbourne

Think this change has been pretty well pre-empted, even back to the "everything is short term" comments from last week. McReight and Valetini aren't getting rotated, and I'm expecting changes in the row as well

    Queensland Reds 2025

Junior rugby only in New Zealand. Massey RC in Auckland. The players are just asked who their "first Australian rugby club" was
