Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Finally a decent kick from Aus but it still worked out in NZ favour.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Difference between the kicking of both sides is huge. ABs being very clever and kicking on their own terms causing pressure. Wobs on the other hand are almost always kicking under pressure and giving the advantage back to NZ.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Strange first half neither team have been anywhere near to firing on all cylinders and it's been a pretty muted affair for a Blendisloe game. ABs are deservedly ahead primarily on possession and territory. Neither team have offered too much when they've put the ball through the hand. Only real...

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

That's a really big miss from Beale.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Good call by Hooper there. 3 points could be crucial in the final shake up

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

a bit better from Aus but the passes are still a little loopy stripping the attack of momentum. Don't really want guys like Folau to have to check when they receive the ball.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Feed has to be really crooked for it to be awarded these days.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

There was a funny example of it at the WRWC where the ref pretty much awarded the turn over on the "T" of "use it".

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

That was much better work from the Wobs, well done Fardy.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Not for me, could put Beale in a diaper and a bib as that was crawling all day long.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Silly penalty to give away and concede the best field position the Wobs have had so far.

    Great chance here.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Wallabies look a little flat to me. Could find that NZ have stealthed their way to a win before they know it. Need to step it up.

    Very much ouch.

NZ blew a certain try there.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Scrappy start from Aus, need to be more accurate with the basics.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Really looking forward to this one. Been a long time since the Wallabies went into a Beldisloe with some real belief. Should be a cracker of a game.

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Completely agree vismyr Harvey's try really was something special. There have been some great tries scored in the tournament but that one trumps them all for me. Not only for Harvey's run (which probably would merit it on it's on) but for the entire team effort to get it out of the scrum and...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Appreciate it Sully and apologies for my earlier post, I get a little too passionate about rugby at times. Really happy to have G&GR around to provide such a fantastic platform to discuss rugby.

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

One action point for the IRB, that was highlighted in this game and was evident through the tournament, is that there needs to be a similar improvement in the quality of the officiating before the next WRWC of the magnitude we've seen in the quality of the play.
