    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Final Score England 13 Canada 13 The second half continued to be one for the low numbers. That's not to say it was some kind of turgid slog in the mud. Far from it, the conditions and pitch were perfect and if you appreciate good forward play then you'll love the replay of this one. Canada...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Half Time England 6 Canada 5 Canada started this pool decider very brightly with plenty of territory and possession in the first 5 minutes. However it was England who opened the scoring. Scarratt converted from a penalty after Canada were a little too eager at the breakdown to make it 3-0...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Half time Ireland 14 Kazakhstan 5. Ireland started very well with an early try from Lynch scored under the posts. The extras were added for a 7-0 lead to Ireland. Kazakhstan were expected to suffer a third heavy defeat in this one but they aren't interested in just making up the numbers...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

It's a 12 team tournament split into 3 pools. The 3 pool winners and the best 2nd placed team will qualify for the semi finals. The Wallaroos currently have 8 points and sit 2nd in Pool C behind hosts France (10 points). Qualification for them is pretty simple. They must beat France to make...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Fair enough. I've contributed what I can to the women's RWC thread in terms of what's coming in the next round of games. I'd still love to read something from an actual aficionado on the Women's game, especially from an Oz perspective. Apart from watching and enjoying the games my knowledge is...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

I'm no expert on Women's Rugby (nor Rugby full stop for that matter) by any stretch of the imagination but I'm a passionate fan of all forms of the game at an elite level. So here's some information on the next round of the Women's Rugby World Cup. The next match day is 9th August 2014 and the...

    2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.

Thanks for the thread Sully it's much appreciated. Hopefully we can create some interest in the site and maybe attract some of the women's rugby community to G&GR. Are there any official facebook, twitter accounts for Women's rugby is Aus that could maybe be engaged by G&GR to expand our...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

By the way, am I the only one who's disappointed with the coverage of the WRWC on G&GR? I would have loved to see a guide to the teams, when games were on TV (or where to find a stream) along with the little extras you get from people who are very knowledgeable and passionate about the game...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

The women's game has made great strides forward in recent years and is of a quality that makes great viewing. Doesn't matter what gender they are when the games are so good. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to those who promote the game that not only is the women's side of the sport a...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Seems the All Blacks twitter account wasn't too happy with the result. Tweet was quickly deleted after they were called out on it.

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Ireland v NZ was an amazing game. First time the two sides have met and Ireland came through 17-14. Ireland's women would be some team with a bit more backing from the IRFU.

    Super Rugby Television Ratings 2014

I love how the guy opens an article by saying forget low crowds then spends the entirety of the article talking about low crowds.

    Waratahs Championship Commemorative Stubby Holders

Could make one in memory of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s performance that also doubles as a Father's Day gift for Tahs fans. "World's Best Two-Dads"

Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

Time for a spot of knacker drinking for the Tahs with their bottles of Bulmers.

Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

When I first saw the presentation table and they mention Bill Pulver, I thought the ARU were so hard up that they'd resorted to selling souvenir mugs to the players.

Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

That was an excellent final. Pretty open first half and then tightened up in the second as the pressure mounted. Both teams made it an excellent watch and nerve racking at the same time.
