    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Well the Tahs are having a crack. Leaving some points in the field though

    Round 12: Reds v Rebels Fri 12th 7:35PM @ Suncorp

This time last year we were sliding out the back of the 8. I know we hung on in the end, but our form was dreadful. To be honest every game I think there have been numerous obvious things we can improve on and, no doubt, even more for the discerning coaches eyes. More consistency would be...

    Round 12: Reds v Rebels Fri 12th 7:35PM @ Suncorp

Tough win for the Reds but a win all the same so happy to take it. A bit worried about the injury to Wilson though & Blyth seemed to be in discomfort on the bench too. Josh Flook should’ve been curled up in a corner somewhere with ice packs all over his ribs but seemed amazingly healthy after...

    Round 12: Reds v Rebels Fri 12th 7:35PM @ Suncorp

Good question about Uru. I really haven’t seen anything about his injury. Got to say thought that John Bryant has been extremely impressive.

    Round 12: Reds v Rebels Fri 12th 7:35PM @ Suncorp

Tom Wright would’ve cut him in half

Plus Wright calls for the Reds. Although I think Swain calls for the Brumbies and Rodda and Holloway are experienced callers too so that in itself probably isn’t a big issue.

    Wallabies 2024

Well Schoup must be in some doubt and the conversation started around Slipper seeming to struggle a bit with fitness this year. Not sure Vella is up there but maybe I just haven’t seen enough of him. Kailea looks decent, but I’m not sure I’d be rushing him in. Hodgeman v Fa’agase might depend on...

    Wallabies 2024

People have been putting Fa’agase up as an option. I didn’t think he was eligible and, to be honest, I’ve never thought he was much beyond an honest toiler. But he’s been very good this year IMO.

To be honest I assumed this was a continuation of your posting from last week when, by your own admission, you threw Foley’s name up to get a response. So I gave you one. If it was genuinely supposed to be a serious suggestion then I’ll just leave it alone other than to say IMO Hooper’s time...

Simon Poidevin too. Maybe we could pull in Matt Burke at fullback, Ella at 10 and Kearns at 2 while you’re on a roll. Although our lineout throwing would still be shite.

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Those games were always fun at school, because generally the thirds went out with massive chips on their shoulders and tried to bash the living shit out of the higher ranked teams. Quite often they even won. No - I don’t think that’ll happen here but hopefully it’ll still be good fun to watch.

22 degrees???? Thank good I couldn’t go I would’ve froze. How cold does it have to get before it is unsafe to play?

Crusaders v Reds: International Star Wars Day 4:35pm NZST

You really are making a lot out what was a pretty innocuous couple of lines in a broad commentary. And then extrapolating it onto a whole bunch of other things. Great that you’re very passionate about winning. I reckon you can be pretty confident Les Kiss will be too.

    RD 11: Rebels v Blues

I know BR is launching an all out blitz on Kellaway tonight to pump up his own boy, but I don’t think he’s breached any forum rules.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I really hope the game finds a way for the Rebels to survive and I feel for the players, staff and fans. But the only thing worse than the actions of the Rebels board here IMO is the amount of front this same group has to stand up in public with a straight face and try to play the good guy...

I would still have McDermott as my first pick.

    Wallabies 2024

Agree - he’s in a tricky spot. Form wise I think he’s been the same as all the others - had some very good games and a few others where he has come up short. I don’t think he looks ready for test rugby but the others are not exactly killing it either. Having seen what has happened with...

    Wallabies 2024

I dunno. For me Holloway has been the pick of the Waratah forwards and one of the better Australian forwards in Super Rugby. Maybe his form has tapered a little, but he’s been pretty consistent. I’d have him as first picked lock, but maybe Schmidt will prefer him as a 6.
