    Wallabies 2024

He’s never really been a dominated scrummager though. He normally holds his own - but his big plus is his work around the park.

Do you mean Smith (not Ryan?). Agree with the rest. With regards to the discussion around backrow I can’t see Wilson & Gleeson both making it. But I think they’ll almost certainly include one of Swinton or Hanigan. Possibly both, unless maybe Schmidt decides he’s only interested in using...

    Queensland Reds 2024

Yeah - but that would’ve been the same last year, right. If anything the numbers of Blues and Hurricane fans in recent years is probably more constant as you’d imagine their fans wouldn’t be put off by the performance of the Reds. So if crowd numbers are up it can only be a positive??

    Queensland Reds 2024

Ryan had a fantastic debut, but let’s wait a bit longer before we start ranking him (sensational start though). Grealy has been good. To early to assess where Aubrey is at. That’s it for for wingers at the moment.

    Waratahs 2024

Don’t worry about that. How did the front rows go? At this rate they’ll be likely to be the Tahs front row in two games time

    Queensland Reds 2024

Agree Ignoto - but that said he isn’t exactly using his size to make a physical impact to often. Can’t really comment too much on Aubrey - he was on a bit of a hiding to nothing last night in his short time on the field but Vunivalu still looks well in front of him. But I would be inclined drop...

    Round 10 : Reds v Blues

    Pretty sure Derpus was joking

    Queensland Reds 2024

I’m interested how they are using him. He seems to spend a lot of time cleaning out and working in tight with the forwards. On the flip side how rarely do we see him on the end of a passing movement of the type that Ryan last night and Grealy regularly receive the ball from. I would’ve thought...

    Wallabies 2024

Nor is it a retirement fund. Quade & Foley should have to demand selection too. If they do, then I’m fine to for them to be considered but I’d have to say that Foley’s last two periods in a Wallabies jersey have both been sub-par. Expecting him to be a better player now than he was two years ago...

    Round 10: Brumbies v Hurricanes Sat 27th 2.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

Well done Brumbies. Great bounce back. Yet another reminder that a week is a long time in sport.

    Round 10: Brumbies v Hurricanes Sat 27th 2.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

Really like the confidence the Brumbies are playing with early and it seems to be forcing a few errors from the Hurricanes - for now at least.

Tua & Ikitau very prominent. Some nice work from Wright too.

Nice start Brumbs. Good drive and crisp finish.

I guess that answers the question about Frost. I thought he’d been travelling well this year.

Round 10: Waratahs v Chiefs. Friday 26th April 7:35 pm

I don’t agree he’s making a genuine attempt to wrap. But you’re right the video ref clearly does. But if Swinton or Swain put those shots on I’m pretty sure lots would be up in arms.

It’s almost like we should stop throwing kids in straight out of school and expecting them to be up to it

Round 10: Waratahs v Chiefs. Friday 26th April 7:35 pm

They are becoming an easy team to dislike - despite having Damien McKenzie at 10 whom I always enjoy watching play.

    Round 10: Crusaders v Rebels

Meh - Sevu Reece assaulted his partner and got let off so he could earn more money. It doesn’t deserve a classy response just because he can play rugby.

Round 10: Waratahs v Chiefs. Friday 26th April 7:35 pm

I know the Tahs front row crisis is hard to cop - but gee Julian Heaven is something of a silver lining to that dark cloud. Playing really well.
