Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby Rd11 2012

I'll back the Tah's in on the strength of last weeks second half.

Head says Crusaders comfortably but the heart refuses to agree. Go the Reds!

Reds vs Crusaders Super Rugby Rd11 2012

Trying to figure out the massive change in Davies game, he just seems so unsure at times. He used to be bloody fearless so I wonder whether the Samoa game kicked his confidence to the kerb or he is playing with some sort of niggle?

He would absolutely carve it up in Prems. A couple of massive Fijians at GPS...haven't seen that since the 80's.

Rebels vs Bulls Rnd 11 Super Rugby 2012

He was in the field of play, bad error by the touchie. Entertaining game though, and a great effort by the Rebels. I liked Beale at 10.

    McKibbin Wallaby Bolter?

I don't disagree, White has looked better than Genia this year but I dispute that he has looked anywhere near Genia's best. Too early to say that experience is the only difference between the two..just my opinion.

    McKibbin Wallaby Bolter?

" Really? As admirable as your unerring loyalty to Brumbies players is, I think it may be somewhat over the top in this case. Genia's highlights reel possesses some absolutely magic moments that few players can lay claim to. Genia's best is miles ahead of Whites.

Fairly certain I saw it in Saturday's paper.

Agree with you, excellent player, but Fruen would have to feature heavily in squad talk.

    Reds 2013

It's all a bit distracting for the team given that 2012 is far from over, however I'm sure that Genia, Cooper and whoever else might leave will want to do their best for the 2012 Reds.

Not surprising to see the comments about TC. Have to say that Fruen was pretty awesome and would have made any number of people look ordinary. How long until he is an All Black?

Only if he is happy to keep playing second fiddle.

PNG lad who was at TSS last year, so yeah, still a teenager T12. Made OZ schools and played ok from what I saw on the TV. Not very tall but a massive bloke who might already be 115kg plus, and I've heard he is close to the strongest in the Academy regarding weights.

Did I read yesterday that Daruda just came off contract in Japan, and the Reds had him and Rex Tapuai down at Ballymore during the week as potential backups for the main Reds squad?

    Reds 2013

Prior must be spewing a bit. He left the Reds because he had Genia in front of him. Now he looks to be behind White at the Brumbies and Genia leaves the Reds. Timing can be such a bitch sometimes.

Yep, came on in the second half. Brothers look to have a very decent backs squad.

    Genia to the Force?

Qld was always going to struggle to retain all of the big names..that's life. Getting Ben Lucas'signature is a big plus. I can still remember all the hoohah when Barnes left but life went on, and even got better. Curious that the Reds are on the front foot re the announcements and Genia and the...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Easts fell away a bit without the direction and experience of Matt Brandon at flyhalf and to be fair UJ has not spent a lot of time with the team. Brothers deserved their win yesterday but the result could very easily have been the opposite. This is a very young Tigers side that will get better...

    Reds 2013

I doubt it with the number of props they already had signed. Would've been a good pick up though, he was a real stand out in the local comp from the get go.

Blues Vs Reds Super Rugby Round 10, 2012

It was good to see a more upbeat and purposeful Genia, he had his best game for a while. I wonder whether his uncertainty over his inside back partner in many of the recent games has led to him trying to do too much and not executing well? He seemed to 'trust' Lucas to play the pivot role and...
