    Qld Premier Rugby 2012

Was down at Crosby Park yesterday and can remember thinking at the time that the head injury to Sheperdson looked pretty severe. Agree with all about having the right medical staff in attendance at games. As to the game, it was played in conditions that got worse as the match progressed, so...

Should be a ripper game this one. Brothers have really surprised me this year. Always knew they would be competitive but they have beaten some teams who have looked considerably stronger on paper.

Rebels vs Brumbies Super Rugby Rnd 15 2012

On last weeks form Brumbies should belt the Rebels, particularly with a few of the Brums backline stars out. Surprised to see Speight dropped to the bench instead of Mogg, but perhaps they need Mogg's big left boot on the paddock.

Excellent match report on the Easts v Wests match T12! I see you rate Jarrad Butler, good player isn't he?

Not too surprised at the Easts result but am a little surprised that Brothers got up at Yoku Park, particularly with their playmaker on the bench for the Reds.

Reds v Lions, Super Rugby Round 13 2012

So if the strong rumour that Cooper is starting happens to be true, who will miss out in the backline? Can't see the wingers or centres being changed so it would have to be out of Morahan or Lucas, both of whom who had solid games on the weekend.

Reds vs Chiefs -Suncorp Stadium 13 May

Unfortunately every team has their quota of idiots who spoil the viewing experience for the majority. Can't stand the booing but unfortunately it seems to be normal behaviour these days.

Was being touted as something special as an NZ schools rep in 2007. Certainly looked like something special scoring that try last night.

Rebels vs Crusaders Rnd 12 Super Rugby 2012

Plenty said already so no need to over old ground, except to say well done to the Rebels! An absolute win for the ages that has every Australian rugby supporter smiling alongside the Rebels fans.

So what were the weekend results? I popped into Shaw Park to see Brothers comprehensively outplay Norths. Looks like the Filth will again feature strongly this year. The young winger with the hyphenated surname sure has some fancy feet, and they are very solid up front.

Reds vs Chiefs -Suncorp Stadium 13 May

Have to watch the replay but it was bloody brilliant to watch that live. Lots of contributers again with Morahan having his best game in ages, Harris finally finding the radar and having a good all round day, and Gill just enormous at the breakdown. Robinson on for Schatz in the second half was...

I can understand why Tilse might be a target, but another outside back...really?

    Aus conference finals run

The Aus Conference is the Brumbies to lose. Bye this week takes them to 39 points and they will then be fresh for the trip to Wellington. Throw in wins against Rebels, Force and Blues and they are a lay down misere.

Reds vs Crusaders Super Rugby Rd11 2012

Crusaders got lucky. Weren't at their best and got the better of the bounce regarding the ref's calls, but that's what good teams do, grind away and find a way to win. That was a much, much, much better effort from the Redsand one that will have supporters a lot more buoyant. To keep the...

Thanks for the report Tigerland. Sounds to me like Paraka is holding his own against grown men, so that would augur well for his future. There is some good young cattle in the Easts forward pack. Like Dan54 I'm also glad to see Wilder went well. His glide and evasiveness in attack is very...

Brumbies vs Waratahs Super Rugby Rd11 2012

What a dominant effort from the Brumbies, definitely the form team in the Aussie conference. Lots of good players tonight and I thought the wingers both had huge games. The potential loss of Lealifano must be very sobering though.
