That would be another ill considered decision from RA. But thats what we get from them and the fan base will shrink a little more.

    Wallabies 2024

He is a physical beast who has looked lost with what the 2023 Wallabies are attempting to do, like many others. He will be playing high level rugby for at least another 4 years and probably longer. His official announcement of retiring from test rugby likely means with Australia. If he is still...

He was our best player last year. Would not be surprised to see him turn out for Fiji in 4 years

But the good ones go to the AFL states to play

AFL are even smarter. The traditional rugby schools in Sydney all now have AFL programs where uniforms, coaches etc are provided. Many now have more AFL teams than rugby sides. Traditionally mothers are not keen on rugby union or league because of the heavy contact so AFL is a good alternative...

Well that means we are dead in the water. A few patches here and there may keep us afloat for a while but just about every other team is improving and those within a couple of ranking points of us that have not passed us yet will do so soon.

That sounds like pretty much what we have been doing the last 20 yrs and ignoring the massive holes and glaring errors, including from EJ (Eddie Jones). I don’t think significant change will happen on a wing and a prayer

Should we start with hiring Steve Anderson as a consultant and actually listen to and then implement his plan? He has done it with success in Europe. The key to this is cleaning out most of the current board and bringing in people who will be open to massive change. Then bring in David Nucifora...

Another notch in the bow for disaster. Picking a captain to lead a very young group who has never captained a side in his career at any level. EJ (Eddie Jones) special!

Not at test level. He is not the right guy….yet. He has been pretty good this year in a miserably failing team so likely worthy of the OS spot but nothing more. Previous to this year he was not great at test level when he agreed to play. I don’t think you can build a team from here around a...

I dont think Skelton was a good choice for captain, especially so being that Jones dropped most senior players for the squad and AAA was injured. There were no senior players outside of Slipper to help him along. A big part of the problem throughout. The bloke has never captained any side and...

It sure would have been nice to have him in the last couple of weeks. We need him when Tupou gets a rest or is injured. Its a big step down after that.

Jones was a good coach not that long ago but he is now too caught up in his own old hype. He made some really poor decisions, many more than good ones and his media front has been a complete circus. Funny at first but now it just reflects poorly on the Wallabies and RA. They are a laughing stock.

It would be nice to keep one through the term of their contract, but not this one. Rennie should have been able to see out his term. Wallaby coaches are harder to keep than prime ministers. Giving a 5 yr contract is ludicrous. Start with two years with KPIs attached to be met to be eligible for...

Eddie is one problem with a straight forward fix. Here is the real problem. The people who set Ireland and Scotland on the way to improvement across the board and even helped to upskill NZ players are not being listened to or respected. The old boys club! And they are Australian. Why are they...

Stop replying to me please. Let’s stop it here and see what happens. Based on the last 30 years probably not much and rugby will lose more support. Hope to be proven wrong

    Wallabies 2024

It’s 90% Eddie’s fault because during the RC he did not get the results he wanted or needed to stroke his ego and he turned around and dumped most of his senior players. Problem was that the replacements were not the equal or better of those dropped players. There is also no guarantee those...

Yes it is much bigger but the coach is a problem and he is not the person to take us forward. It’s all about him. It needs to be about the game and the players.

Eddie tore up the script and threw it away…………….and we all know the end result. He needs to go We have the Lions coming in two years and we need to try and mount some kind of resistance. Whoever the coach is they need to get their ducks in a row soon.

    Wallabies 2024

It was 2021 when he first came back. You know the game I mean. Let’s not split hairs. The bloke lifted our game as soon as he returned and then after a major injury last year, like Kerevi, put in the hard yards to be available for this world cup. It may be that he was not the one we needed but...
