    Wallabies 2023

I am not a big fan of EJs squad but he has got the starting backrow right.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

If they go 6-2 then surely Kellaway gets the nod over Suli? He can play wing, fullback and centre.

What time do we get the team?

He’s cooking a pot that doesn’t push back

It probably should have been Hodge. He plays 10,12 and 15 and can kick goals. Jorgensen is the future and has outstanding potential. Hope he gets a run. Hodge would be particularly useful on a 6-2 bench.

We hope, along with another legit 10 option

I hear Lenny Ikitau is back in contact training down at Canberra. I would be looking at drafting him back in very soon to sure up our midfield. He may be “too senior” for Jones but is one of our few world class players.

Not sure if surrounding Gordon with inexperience is a good move and we will look very thin on the bench.

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

If we are honest France played well within themselves giving nothing away of what their level will be from this weekend on. Hopefully we did the same -)

    Wallabies 2023

Uru was a beast…..and at 7. Switched to the second row in the second. JOC (James O'Connor) looked sharp as did Swinton and Lonergen at 9. A good hit out for the back ups no doubt.

We have to get past Georgia, Wales and Fiji. Not such a straightforward path to the knockouts as many would suggest.

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

He hasn’t been there that long yet. It’s been fluid……….I’ll give him that.

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

You must be Jones or his mum? I am not acting about anything. Fact is EJ (Eddie Jones) said he would win the Bled and then the RWC with this squad. Its not working out so well. We are going around in circles. Jones jumped the gun and ushered in a new era a few months early. Simple. I hope they go well but am...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

It might make it worse. We are going into the tournament for the first time at 0-5 and we are at our lowest ranking that I can remember. If you think a spirited round robin by a young inexperienced side before getting bundled out will win people over you are mistaken. The only thing that will be...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

Thats utter gash. In two months is the time to rebuild. This is rugbys showpiece and our results will have a large effect on where the game goes in Australia over the next period(4yrs or more). There are glaring holes in Jones’ selections and appointments with the obvious at 10 but also in...

    Wallabies 2023

Hooper, White, Quade and Ikitau were all in the leadership group. Thats a massive loss in experience and direction. If Slips is out it is pretty much a bunch of rookies playing around Kerevi. If he out it’s just a bunch of rookies, as we saw on the weekend. The French played well within...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

We were so predictable. Valetini trucked it up over and over so after the first 10 minutes the French knew what to expect. Ditto with the lineout. We kept going to Hooper until they started picking him off, and after that as well. I felt like we played very narrow and kept Petaia out of the...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

I am not suggesting QC (Quade Cooper) or anyone else is our lord and saviour, and yes Noah was thrown in the deep end too early, albeit in a more measured way than Gordon has been. What these selections do is get Jones off the hook should we bow out before the quarters. These decisions should have been made...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

What is ludicrous is to think that going into a RWC campaign with one 10, a three test rookie, makes any sense at all. As said, I like Gordon and think he should be there but at this stage he should be coming off the bench and starting the lesser pool games. Look what happened to Noah L. He was...

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

Apparently not. TBF France directed almost all of their close in attack down Gordons channel, as all other teams in this RWC will. For this reason having a bigger body like Hodge or a more accomplished 10 as another option on the bench would just be plain smart. We cannot be happy going into...
