  1. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2024

He almost single handedly defeated SA last year and was coming back off a major injury. Was not given time to get back in form. Without question much more worthy of a punt that some freckled kid who had a couple of average test caps under his belt. Both should have gone BTW. And as stated...

    Wallabies 2024

The other issue with EJ (Eddie Jones) is that it will be almost impossible to get other decent coaches to work with him. If he is able to convince a decent coach to come on board how long will they stay?
  3. Joe Blow

    Wallabies 2024

Eddie cannot stay. His selections and the game plan, or lack of one, directly resulted in our less than decent play at this RWC and the lead up to it. Even if in his mind he did have the right game plan, his squad was unable to produce it and he should have been acutely aware of that. He...

Wallabies v Portugal, RWC Pool C, Mon 2 Oct 2.45AM

What record. There is nothing to pad. Hahahaha……

    Wallabies 2023

Now we can and must rebuild. It’s the time. A couple of months out from a RWC is not the time.

    Wallabies 2024

Not the people who made this decision and are running the show now. They need to go along with EJ (Eddie Jones). They all need to call time on themselves if they have any self respect remaining.

    Wallabies 2023

That was the worst performance by a Wallaby side in my lifetime and I have been an avid fan for 50 years. Jones has done more damage to rugby in Australia in a few short months than league and AFL have in decades. I don’t know what the answer is but this must be rock bottom and it can only get...

I hope you are right DP

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

I think they are going to switch to an expansive game, go wide often.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

Haha. Telling disillusioned fans to stay away and not watch the game is the right decision? Are you him? He is there to make the right decisions but seems to be failing.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

It just shows the lack of IQ in our rugby administration. He is trying to defend the coach, the decision to hire him and the team when in reality he represents us the fans, or should.

Under pressure and deflecting back onto the dissatisfied fans. Not a good look.

Porecki is the best we have. He does a lot in general play and his lineout throwing is accurate. Faessler got a bad rap last game because he was throwing to 1 1/2 targets. In general his throwing is pretty good too.

    Apparently so

I am sure we will see it against Portugal. He had that big hit against Wales last year but did not do much in the game after that. Valetini is much busier and effective. Hooper too and is a lineout option. The lineout this week should be excellent.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

I think we are going to try and smash them up front but go wide quickly when possible. Less kicking in this one……..as it should have been in the last one but probably not for this one. Confusing? Yes, very.

He will have a part to play in this one.

We can’t break Bell. That would take the cake.

Interesting that Slipper remains on the TH side despite Pone coming back.

Sad but true. Although I think the idea with this 15 is to start Hooper at 7 and add the extra weight of Leota to assert dominance up front initially. McReight will finish off like a terrier. Probably not a bad plan.
