    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

It seems to be a common failing. Petaia, White, Kerevi and even Koreibete have done it lately. Just crazy. They must be being told to kick kick kick at training and it’s on the brain. Petaia is probably the best one on one. Have a go mate!

The problem with Gordon in the last two games was that he was not going wide enough. Our wingers and Petaia were not brought into the game enough. These guys are try scorers and Kellaway loves to run off them. Gordon benched after his coach told the media that he had his back no matter what?

Hell no! Let’s have number 7 and my vote is Suli.

He can do both. He is no slouch at getting over the line.

True, but we have gone out of the frypan into the fire. I was on the EJ (Eddie Jones) train back then but we have gone from bad to worse and the myth of rebuilding offers little if any comfort.

Jones was a mistake. We may have been struggling under Rennie but he had a recognisable direction and game plan. He had a nucleus of senior players to take us through this RWC. Would we have won? Extremely unlikely but we would most likely have performed to a reasonable standard considering our...

You sure as hell don’t implement a game plan that is beyond your players. The nucleus of this team under Dave Rennie would have got through this pool undefeated most likely. They were good at most of those things a year ago. The easiest draw in our RWC history…….. Good article from the Roar...

But you cant stick to that plan if you do not have decent accurate kickers in the team

Well thats it. They put in 100% effort but they are chasing their tails if they do not buy in or understand the game plan. Or the game plan is just rubbish and/or not suited to the group.

The danger now is that EJ (Eddie Jones) will, or already has, lost the confidence of playing group. Hope it not to be the case and we can somehow summons a win to give ourselves a shot at going through.

So what is our coached approach at the breakdown?

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

He has got it wrong but his ego will not let him admit it. Right now he needs to be letting go of a few injured players and bringing in some key additions. Wales look organised and well structured in attack and defence, something like we would have looked last year. We lost our shit and bottled...

A similar message to the one that is sent to young rugby players in Oz by making Will Skelton captain

You are missing the point I reckon. Our pack on paper is big and pretty decent but what are they being coached to play? The selections of team and coaches have been off. The game plan is off. The remaining experienced players look lost and frustrated. Trying to implement a new game plan a couple...

    Wallabies 2023

He has not won a senior RWC but he has won Rugby Championships, Curry Cups and everything else there is to win. My point is he is an experienced winning 10 who can kick goals and was retained because of it. His RWC record is 5 wins and one loss. I’d take it. He might not be the best example but...

Run the ball……go wide, whatever. Don’t give it back to the opposition.

Older 10s that steer their countries to decent RWC results……………and can kick goals at 90%. Show me a 3 test rookie who has done the same?

The Carter Gordon only experiment is officially a failure. Not on him BTW and hope he can recover and is not thrown on the scrap heap.

Our kicking was once again woeful. Petaia and White kicking it away while hot on attack Gordon and Donaldson kicking aimlessly. Donaldson kicking the pill away with less than a minute to go when we needed a 7 pointer. Kicking is fine as long as it is well directed and timed.
