Moore Park? Sorry - I don't get it. Things here just seem overly complicated. Even the school rugby system is confusing to me with Catholic Schools in one comp and other schools in another comp, club teams etc....it's so hard to follow. When it was 'explained' to me, it made me very glad we...

    Australian Rugby / RA

I'm totally unaware of how the power structures work in Australia. Why can't RA take control of all rugby in Australia? Why doesn't NSW and Shute Shield and QLD etc answer to RA?

    Wallabies 2023

Man….I don’t know how Tupou got thru those scrums. I’ve had a cracked rib and just breathing was painful. Tupou should never buy a beer again if Nic White is in the same bar!

    Wallabies 2023

I’ve been on this forum for about 10yrs now I reckon and it seems to me, the Wallabies are almost always waiting for at least 1 guy to come back from injury.

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

It doesn't matter what style you play if your players just aren't up to the required level. It seems like Rennie was trying to do bring them up to Test standard....probably why someone like Kerevi really enjoyed playing for him....

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

My young fella is playing school/club footy and got his first taste of rep rugby a few weeks back. After one of his trainings, I made the comment that everything looks so structured and he replied that it is. He said one of the coaches hates unstructured play. I'm trying to teach him that while...

You mean tried to coach them? Nah…just do pick and go and then hands thru the backs lol

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

Genia talked a little about this as well. He said that he felt that the skills and the decision making abilities of the current Wallabies might not be at the same level as the ABs, the French etc. To quote Genia "I had a real good to talk to Samu Kerevi about it. He was someone who really...

    Refereeing decisions

John Kirwan goes through how he thinks this should be officiated on the newest edition of the Breakdown on Stan and youtube.

    Refereeing decisions

Watching this with my wife, I immediately said that it would be a red, maybe a yellow. Could not believe it got nothing - it's not like there isn't precedent for this.

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

I wouldn't disagree but I also think there is merit in what he is saying. I don't think White compliments QC (Quade Cooper)'s style of play very well. But I also think that Nic White is one of the more overrated players. It's a shame Genia didn't play longer....

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

I'd like to see Tate start with QC (Quade Cooper). Listening to Will Genia last week, he thinks that the Wallabies do not have the balance of playing off 9 and 10 right. In his opinion, QC (Quade Cooper) is a guy who needs the ball in his hands and he thinks that Tate gets the ball to him better than White. If that's true...

    Wallabies 2023

I totally agree. It doesn't answer what the expectations were for the last 3 games though or what is different from Rennie. If the RWC matters, are the Wallabies in a better position now to be successful than they would have been with Rennie?

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

He didn't need to. If you watch it, from the second Telea catches the ball, all the touchie is doing is watching the sideline. That is literally ALL he is doing is watching the sideline. And there is no footage, not on Stan anyway, that shows Telea steps out. I've watched it a number of times...

    Wallabies 2023

Some people seem to think that 2023 results don't matter so long as the Wallabies are competitive against the BIL and in the next RWC. Rennie was already competitive against the top teams last year even with all the injuries and unavailability. Let's see how EJ (Eddie Jones) goes this weekend with a few...

    Wallabies 2023

If you think it takes a wonderful imagination to wonder what RA's expectations for the Rugby Championship and Bledisloe this year were, then no wonder you are an EJ (Eddie Jones) fan.

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

You were wrong about Telea - completely. Provide definitive proof he was miles into touch. The only people who were at fault for Savea just playing rugby were 1. The coaching and medical staff for leaving him out there. 2. Tupou for getting involved in the tackle. Your lack of rugby...

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

I was impressed because I thought they would get blown off the field in the first 10-15 mins but they gave the ABs forwards a real arm wrestle for some good stretches during the game. When I saw the team lists, I thought the score might get to a 50-point blowout. I think the injuries took a...

    Wallabies 2023

I wonder what the 'interview' was like when they got Eddie. I mean, on one hand, you have Dave Rennie who has been working for the past 3 years trying to build a squad that can compete at the RWC. He wasn't trying to build for 2027. Was EJs pitch along the lines of 'Nah, fuck 2023. I'm just...

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

I get it. Honestly, I do. But it happens every game, right throughout the game and it gets ridiculous. The whole Ardie Savea reaction set me off a bit I think. I know, I know....
