    Wallabies 2023

You realise the NRL is full of men right?

    Wallabies 2023

I know people are against moving Carter but the greatest rugby Carter of all time (Dan - in case it needs to be said LOL) started his Test career at 12. I think Beauden Barrett might have as well. Last year I thought the ABs were building the backline towards having the ability to move players...

    Wallabies 2023

I don't think anyone 'read' it into your criticism. You did literally drop him from your Bledisloe squad

    Wallabies 2023

Totally agree re: Nic White. At best, he has always been a reserve Test halfback. I think he probably benefited from not having a lot of competition for the spot but now there is....

    Wallabies 2023

In the first couple of years of moving to Australia and while still playing rugby, I attended an end-of-season footy function and I could not get over how almost all of the players - particularly the younger guys - were watching a Raiders game instead of a Wallaby Test match which was on at the...

    Wallabies 2023

This is what frustrated me during the Pocock v Hooper era. Pocock had games where he literally DID flip the scales. Hooper has been a great servant of the game but IMO he is a notch below the legend 7’s we’ve seen in the past.

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

I just had a quick look at NRL ticket prices and the 'Best Seat' prices were around $55 - $60. And one of those tickets was for a double-header with an NRLW game opener.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I'll take the guy trying too hard over the guy who is either too scared or too cool. Every single time.

Agree. Tell the boys to settle down and carry on.

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

How many people will buy $50 as opposed to staying home? I guess they have to work out how much $$ is lost on people who would have bought tickets at $99 anyway but to me, there are intangibles about having a full stadium that outweighs the few dollars extra you might have made with higher...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Just watched the game....I can't stand the whole 'Blue 23 started it but 8 golds retaliation is worse' bullshit. There is a direct correlation between one's 'fucking around' and 'finding out' that rugby used to understand. I thought Alan Ala'alatoa had a great game. A shit load of tackles and...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I don't think he's getting written off for his club rugby success. I think it's the lack of impact he has had in the 20-odd Tests he's played to date. For a guy who gets such huge wraps in Europe, he seems pretty anonymous for the Wallabies.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Not knocking the pass down keeps the ball in play.

    Yeah....that was a tough call.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Maybe but we have seen cards handed out for what Vuni did for a while now. The emphasis always seems to be on how realistic or how authentic the attempt at catching the ball is. From what I’ve seen, defenders who make a play at intercepting the ball must have a realistic chance of catching it...

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

There was nothing 50/50 about it. That has been refed like this for a while…which is why no-one made an issue about even in the all-Australian commentary team or analysis after the game. Almost everything you have called 50/50 was not 50/50 at all. Hodge was offside from QCs chip and Samu...

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

The laws actually state that “Players must endeavour to catch the ball. Referees are asked to show good judgement when deciding if the player has a reasonable expectation of catching and gaining possession, and then in determining a sanction.”

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

A player has to try and catch the ball. The can't just hit it. It was clear that Vuni was not making any attempt to catch it and this has been a yellow card for a while. But yeah...it was a pretty bad game

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

He has played 20-odd Tests since debuting in 2014. He has had plenty of opportunities but some players just aren't up to Test rugby.

You're kidding yourself. 50/50 have had nothing to do with this and there haven't been many at all. The Wallabies have just been terrible.
