An offer to play for Toulouse would be very hard to turn down. Probably a 50% chance of winning the HCup with them and the T14 as well
If Kelleher goes to Bayonne (of all places - it's the poor step-brother of Biarritz down the road) it's likely they will get hold of Burgess as Michalak will most likely be playing 10 - because Skrela is off to Clermont.

But if Kelleher doesn't relocate they may not acquire Burgo.

IF G&GR'S OWN LUKE BURGESS LEAVES IT'S ALL YOUSE LOTS FAULT FOR CONTINUALLY BAGGING HIS PASS

I particularly hold Queenslanders responsible

We need a levy fund to persuade him to stay

I'm not too worried mate, surely a club like Toulouse wouldn't waste their money on a halfback who can't pass.

If I'm responsible, you can thank me when he's gone ;)

And on Cooper signing with Williams and Mundine's management...I don't see the big deal. Both Williams and Mundine are both gentlemen who have never been caught for being drunk, hitting women or pissing around the streets at 4am in the morning, and have very strong morals. If anything, Cooper will become a better rugby player from hanging around men who are giants in their respective sports. Learning how to be the best and beat the best. It's Cooper life, not our choice to decide.

On 17 August 2005 he was charged with drunk driving; the Bulldogs fined Williams $5,000 over the incident and he was forced to appear in Waverley Local Court on 7 September. He was convicted of drunk driving, with a blood alcohol level of .075 ( "never been caught for being drunk"? ).

In 2007, Williams was caught in a compromising position with Australian model Candice Falzon. Several witnesses saw Williams and Falzon enter a toilet cubicle together at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney. A photo taken by a mobile phone of the incident was published on the Daily Telegraph website. Williams later apologised to his girlfriend (Genna Shaw) over this incident.

On 17 June 2007, Williams was caught by police urinating on a wall ( literally "pissing around the streets at 4am", as you put it ) in a dark alleyway near a well known nightclub in Cronulla in Sydney and was handed an infringement notice and fine worth $650. Williams subsequently admitted he had an alcohol problem and would seek professional help for his problem.

... And even recently controversy when he took a ski trip on a Canterbury game day when he was suppose to be injured.

Also SBW signed a contract which he promptly broke. I don't care how good he is, is he trustworthy, I don't think so.

As for Mundine what has he proved? He was never as good a League Player as his ego made him according to friends who follow league, and in his Boxing career he has managed to fight complete nobodies for the vast majority of his fights and gets knocked out by the German (can't even remember his name) one of the softest World champs ever and then a journeyman reality TV star. He is a very good manager of his own fame and profile but he seems to encourage strange behaviour in those he associates with.

The fact that Cooper is associated with the likes of these is of concern and I will be very surprised if he re-signs with the ARU at the end of the year.

No stranger to controversy is Mundine either. Famously went public with apparent support for 9/11.

Er.....wasn't $BW caught bonking Candace Falzon in the dunny of the Clovelly Hotel in 2007 while in a long term relationship with his girlfriend? Remember http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/toilet-tryst-picture/story-e6frewyr-1111113329395

Yes, but other than those few trivial instances can we not agree with Reddy that SBW is a perfect gentleman with "very strong morals"? Before we start throwing stones, is there any one of us who can say, hand on heart, that he has never shagged a high profile model/sportswoman in a pub dunny?

A gentleman doesn't break a contract the way Williams and his manager did. They are mercenaries who have demonstrated no loyalty or respect to their employers, they are only interested in their own pecuniary interests.

That may work in an individual sport like boxing but rugby is a team sport
