Western Force 2025

Potentially hit the local comp more than the Force. I think we are at the rusted on crew coming regularly to the Force games so the League is probably not going to pull too many of those away.

Long term the floaters may move between the two clubs depending on success or otherwise of the teams.

Probably hurt the Tahs more.
North Shore of Sydney already has a growing junior league market. This will speed it up.

That's a long term problem though. Don't doubt the Sea of Blue die hards will be there but kids eyes are what we need in the future as they get older.

I think you can co exist and would be good to see some co marketing even to drive ticket sales or clinics. End of the day both are in an Aussie Rules heartland. Force having Twiggy behind them might hold a bit more respect than what the Rebels could do with the Storm.

Josh Thompson Confirmed:

Force continue signings with addition of emerging forward Thompson

The Western Force are excited to confirm the signing of forward Josh Thompson ahead of the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Thompson, who can play lock or number six, joins the Force from NSW Shute Shield club West Harbour and brings physicality and work ethic to the Force forward stocks.

Also mentioned in the West Australian article about Ekuasi, the Force have signed Josh Thompson:

Shute Shield lock who toured South Africa with them last year but dislocated his shoulder.

Think about this SEVEN years ago on the 20 August 2017 Twiggy addressed us all at the rally at Western Force headquarters to save the Western Force and exactly SEVEN years later, SEVEN Western Force players on the annversary date are selected for the Wallaby touring squad.

Congrats! Pressure is on for 2025, clear favourites for the title now.

Cron might actually have to win some games now?

Hoping the haters can let us have a little bit of joy over this side

We've surely done enough hard yards to deserve that?

After having an entire new squad parachuted in by RA surely that expectation would be on the Wharebels?
It's quite exciting, WF, Reds and Waratahs have all bolstered their squads substantially. Brumbies will continue to Brumby. Hoping the Rebels' departure isn't in vain and we can beat the Kiwis.
