Western Force 2025

Brumby Runner

It's quite exciting, WF, Reds and Waratahs have all bolstered their squads substantially. Brumbies will continue to Brumby. Hoping the Rebels' departure isn't in vain and we can beat the Kiwis.
I have very low expectations for Super Rugby next year.

The Tahs have a virtual new squad with all new coaching staff. Think it will take a year or two to bed in changes.

The Brumbies have a weakened roster with Swain, Brown and Tua moving on and little in the way of replacements.

The Force will still have the horrendous travel millstone to deal with.

The Reds are Reds and will find ways to lose to the weaker teams and just miss the top four.

End of Super Rugby can't come soon enough, so long as a national competition can be worked out to replace it.

So you're a Brumbies fan and you think the Brumbies have a weaker squad than this year, and therefore you have forced yourself to find reasons to think every other team will be worse year on year?

Misreading me there RY. Tahs will be better but a couple of years off being goood. Reds will be better but still battling to make the top four due inconsistency. Force will be better but their travel schedule will always work against them being a 'force'.

Brumbies will go backwards, thanks RA. Rebels are certainties to be worse than last year.

O'Donell and Amone Confirmed to the Tahs this morning.

O'Donnel was never going to stay with us, we were lucky to pick him up for this year. He is a 21 year old kid with family and friends all in Sydney, besides the actual super rugby season he did not spend much time in the west. He does have a high celing but he was never going to be a long term propect for us.

In regards to Callan, he is a victim of current and potential depth. Carlo Tizzano, Nic De Champion de Crespigny, Villiani Ekuasi. possibly Kane Koteka and the up and coming Dane Sawyers and HD Stemmet from the academy.

Yes O'Donnell was never going to stay but we could have at least played him more.

And you keep spinning the depth story. Depth is when you have multiple super rugby/international quality players in each position, not 18 year old kids.
