Let's not forget the force have the best player in the nation backed up by 3 very good backrowers in Hodgson, McCalman & Brown so getting quick ball against the Force will be easier said than done.

Maybe the Force may be thinking a bit more 10 man rugby as they'll have a strong lineout especially if they play Hockings & McCalman at 8 the scrum won't be great but they have two very good young hookers & the journey man Fairbrother.

Swanapoel was terrible for the Marlins last year at 10. His first game suggested otherwise but then he slipped into mediocrity. I am aware that he replaced Seymour at 10 when primarily he is a 9.

Ryan Tyrrell has retired from rugby for the Force. This was mooted last year after his neck operation but he came back to training late in 2010. Unfortunately he's hurt himself again. Shame, because he was a local guy who looked like he had a good few years ahead of him - maybe behind Charles and Whittaker but certainly offered some depth.

And let that be the last bad news for the year.

So Ryan Tyrall is gone for good, Justin Turner is out for the season, Cameron Shepherd might be in jail for the season.

This is feeling like 2010 again :(

I predict Ripia and OConnor to go down in the lead up to the first game (being players that we cant really replace).

I don't like you and your predictions.

Nathan Sharpe has a hernia and is out for the next 4 - 6 weeks after undergoing surgery last Saturday.

They're saying he's a chance to take the field against the Reds but it's too early to call.

Don't need any more of this....

Go the force!!!!

If you make "Go the force!!!" your signature you wouldn't have to post it after every post.

Terrible news. Bet they wish they either had their old starter Pat O'Connor or the local boy Adam Wallace-Harrison.

Lacking experience in the locks is an awful blight, however Hockings and Wykes would be a pretty complementary lock pairing in terms of playing styles.

But if you literally make it your forum signature you won't have to write it anymore.

I use tapatalk on iPhone and that's how it does it. I don't type it in it's just always there as a sig. I changed it on the website forum so it may say it twice now. Lol

Edit : no just once still

Go the force!!!!

Sounds like Sharpe will be back after the bye. No need to risk him for just one game.

Wykes and Hocking to start, and they will be a suitable locking pair.

Shiggins, its there twice. but you can never say it too much anyway.

Go the force!!!!

Biggest problem with him is what is between the ears and just how good HE THINKS he is

Was Seymour dropped on form or was he injured?
