I get that our local guys haven't had the benefit yet of proving not good enough in SA, NZ or France, and they havent journeyed as far and wide all these kiwi and saffa journeymen we keep bringing in, but I'd love them to pick one of our own local guys instead. Is this 150 kg fella really weigh more than our own 150kg Lolohea? Or Metcher, Kolo, Ala'alatoa, Borsak, talakai, Gillespie, or iverunout? My scales say no!

They sure do like their props on the morbidly obese side over there.
It helps they have like 8 of them per squad and just rotate them through.
The invited players currently with the Tahs are:
Johnson Falefa, Hugh Roach (Eastwood), Subbies star Tipiloma (Loma) Kaveinga from Balmain, Randwick’s Stephen Hoiles and Auvasa Felealii from the Newcastle Waratahs.
It seems almost certain that the Tahs have to sign a prop (5th for the squad) and a hooker (3rd for the squad) for the last two positions.
That's at least how I figure it.

Good to see Cheika putting in as well! Jeremy Tilse leading the way. I guess this is why Cheika loves him so much. He obviously puts in everything at training. With four props in every matchday squad he is likely to be more important this year.

People just want to join Team Tonga. Dave Dennis even tried changing his name to Dave De'ennis and they still rejected him.
I think he's hoping that if he gets married to Mo'onia Gerrard he'll be allowed in by virtue of marriage.

There some incentive to work hard at training going from the pic of Foley in the new jersey.
I had a chat to some of the boys at lunchtime in the city.
Tala Grey said he's never done any tougher training in his life. Several of the players said that it's a decent step up in intensity from what they did at the start of last year.
