There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know.

Try to imagine the scene when he tried to explain that one to his boss, George Dubya.

We had that all this year though, prefer to have the best 15 out there week in week out.

One of the things Mike Foley said on thursday is that in the interest of their safety, no player would start every week. He did say that within the 35, there would be 28 players that will be rotated throughout the matchday 22, and the remainder of the squad would be training with the aim to get into the 28.

Try to imagine the scene when he tried to explain that one to his boss, George Dubya.

He might have understood it, after all he was the one who said such things as:

''I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep on the soil of a friend.''

''There's a huge trust. I see it all the time when people come up to me and say, 'I don't want you to let me down again.''

''I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn't here.''

''Then you wake up at the high school level and find out that the illiteracy level of our children are appalling.''

''You're working hard to put food on your family.''

Getting back to the rugby, wasn't it encouraging to see the nice passing and interplay between Horne, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Turner?

It was nice to see an injury free turner burn some defenders as well.
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is still for mine a great fullback. A back three of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Mitchell, Turner is my pick, they can swap round anyway, but it allows hire and Carter in the centres and allows AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to pick his runs, just as long as we leave the guy there and let him settle in a position.

I'd have to agree, I quite like the idea of the Waratahs sporting a backline where only Pretorius at 9 and Barnes at 10 are set positions. With Carter and Horne in the centres but playing as mixed 12/13 and Turner, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Mitchell mixing it up at the back, it gives the Tahs an unpredictability in their play, with some solid contributors coming off the bench (i.e McKibbin, Pakalani, Foley, Kingston).

I just dont think the Australian public was ready for such a revolutionary concept.... #mindboggling

It was so weird, I remember the, trying to sell Lotes at auction for a heap of money saying how unique it was when Lockie Turners was exactlythe same.

Why not have the names of the players on the back of the jerseys like other pro sporting teams, including rugby teams, have? It doesn't seem to compromise their sponsorship deals.

As you would already know from my "five wishes" article this has been something of a hobbyhorse of mine so I am absolutely stoked with Foley's comment!
