Kearns pushing on about the Tahs. As bad as Marto with the Reds. Argh.

McArdle asking about the style of rugby the Wallabies will play vs the Lions. Says attack to win, and defence. Stresses about defence, Lions will be direct and physical.

Kearns interrupted McArdle's line of questioning on the topic. Fucking Kearns.

How exactly has you assessed this claim lol?

Game against the Chiefs, Kings and Stormers, he's excellent at working through the maul and getting his hands on the carrier and sacking him. Haven't seen anyone do it better.

Reckon Deans hint at defence and the Lions' playing like the Welsh - straight and direct and physical (not sure I agree completely) indicates his feeling about Cooper not being able to defend.

(Ironic part being that Cooper has defended better than JOC (James O'Connor) this year, Deans' likely choice at 10.)

CT_Sport (Canberra Times) just tweeted this:

Looks like George Smith is out for the entire Lions series with a serious knee injury. Perhaps a PCL. Doesn't look gd for McCabe either

At least it's in the position where we have the most depth.

I suggest you watch it again, and watch Palu specifically.

Yes his first hit up was great, but after that he was repeatedly caught behind the advantage line, bossed in contact, or had very little go forward in contact.

I just watched it specifically to see how Palu went against big physical opposition, and the result was the same as always. It's so frustrating to watch a man of his size have so little impact. Hooper makes more ground in contact than Palu ffs.

I'll have a video up in the next few days of all of Palu's runs during that game. Hopefully we can tone down some of the parochial bullshit then.

We are really going to miss Smith being in the mix. He was everywhere before he was injured tonight. He reads the game so well and is invariably in the right place at the right time.
Hope the scans prove that it is not as bad as predicted.
TPNs Kamikaze tackling technique once again injures him and rules him out of a very important series. Can someone please teach him how to tackle?
2 big losses for the Wallabies but also opportunities for a couple of young players on the big stage.
