It's imperative we pick our best scrummaging front row. The back five in my pack should be able to outpoint the BILs at the breakdown while holding their own in the set pieces. I've tried to get a good balance of attack and defence in the backs, that lot should do it. One thing we should be very cognisant of playing the BILs is open-field kicking: we simply MUST execute this well, and we must have a well-practised plan to handle their kicks (a leaf out of the Saders' playbook might be a good place to start). 'Cause we're going to get plenty of 'em. I'd like to see Folau get a lot more practice kicking for the Tahs the next few matches, his decision not to kick when he received the ball on his goal-line in the first half against the Stormers didn't go so well. And yet when he did put boot to ball it looked good. Surely he learnt something about kicking during his two AFL years.
