I fail to see how these 3 are ahead of Holmes. Kepu would be behind him too in my view.

He seems to be the forgotten man of Australian rugby.

He probably does deserve to be higher up the pecking order. I think the reality is that he's not though. I don't think he has a hope in hell of making the Wallabies squad. Realistically, I'll be surprised if he plays another test.

As a big fan of Mogg at FB and Folau on the wing this is my reaction to Kurtley Beale's latest indiscretion.

The nightmare draw could work in our favour -

1. Talk all one likes about NZ, But ask any Wallaby what he enjoys more than anything else - Trouncing the English. Even though they are not in the top 3 or 4 teams in the world - they are still the Poms... I would TRADE MY SOUL to be part of a Wallabies Team that put England out in thePools of their OWN World Cup!

Yes, I know that intellectually, and from a Rugby perspective, a win over a quality All Blacks side is a much greater achievement - but beating a Kiwi is NEVER going to be a substitute for an Australian, to compare to giving a Pom a good seeing-to... Not. Ever.

2. The two teams that emerge from this Pool - whoever they are - will come out feeling pretty good about themselves... Tournament Rugby is a Specific Beast, and top teams come out of Pool rounds usually feeling quietly confident, but still sparring - mentally trying to sort out where they sit in the Business Rounds.... The two teams that come out of this Pool, will be like a Fella 6 Good Punches into a Fight - Feeling like he is still standing, in it for keeps and landing blows to order; "Come and Get It"...

I didn't mind Oz not winning the World Cup last time, I didn't expect them to... What I minded - and deeply resented - was the timid way they ultimately capitulated in that last match against New Zealand - it was much like they were in a Semi-Final and still hadn't really got their heads into the fight, yet...

Then of course, they did what Wallaby Teams have done so regularly in recent years - come out in the dead rubber against Wales, and played like champions... with nothing at stake. The (frankly apalling) record Wales has against Australia cannot continue indefinitely, surely?

If the Wallabies can put England out in the Pools, put some sly money on them for the whole box & dice -If they can't, then I would not want to rely on our recent good record against Wales lasting all the way through 2015...

Yep its Mogg or JOC (James O'Connor) for me at fullback.

I would go with JOC (James O'Connor) because I think Mogg will stuff up big time in his first few tests before coming good.

Genia
Cooper
Ioane
Lilo
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
Folau
JOC (James O'Connor)

Although I think Deans will use this as an excuse to bring Barnes back into the team.

As well as they are both playing at the moment, I cannot see two rookies taking the field in the back three.

Wouldn't mind seeing JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 and Barnes at 15. Although it would be a tiny backline.

Think Beale's written himself out of the picture now, which does open the door for Mogg at fullback - although I expect Deans to play it somewhat safe and go with Barnes. This is what I expect we'll see, note that it's not what I want to see.

JOC (James O'Connor)

Lilo
AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
Folau

I can usually put up with a lot of Robbie's shit but if he picks Barnes at FB when Mogg is available I will seriously flip my shit.

Meh, more Deans bitching. You might not like it, and I don't especially either, but there's an easy logic there. If Lilo and Folau play that's two debutants already. Barnes was one of our best players on the EOYT, and was the player of the series against Wales in June. He's a calm, senior, voice both in camp and come match time. He's safe defensively, can kick drop goals and drop tries. Mogg is an electric talent but, like Folau and Lilo, is untested at Test level as well as having as having question marks over his defence.

If you really want to emulate Rassie, your gifs need to be much smaller and harder to see.

The people in them should look like ants running around.

On a more serious note, it's not great for Tapuai to get dropped to the bench two games out from the squad of 25 being named.

Whilst I still think he'll make the 31 squad at the end of the day, it certainly draws attention his drop in form.

He must be super calm when even he has admitted to reverting to kicking the skin off the pill when the game plan is to run the ball like he tended to do last year. I think Robbie even backhandedly hung him out to try at one point. Just reeks of calmness doesn't it.

How good is his drop goal record as well? You wouldn't say he is a specialist.
